we've been blessed with 2 straight decades of having great individual Oline guys (Thomas, Bitonio mostly) who have been great guys and players

"First down inside the 10. A score here will put us in the Super Bowl. Cooper is far to the left as Njoku settles into the slot. Moore is flanked out wide to the right. Chubb and Ford are split in the backfield as Watson takes the snap ... Here we go."

What a bummer. Sounds like Emerson had worked hard all offseason in hopes of a bounce back year.

Non contact injury and towel over head usually means torn ACL.

From the reporters there and CBD guys it sounds like it’s a torn Achilles.

How good would Travis Hunter look as a Brown now ?
This is the WRs the Browns face in the 1st 4 weeks
Tee Higgins , Jamar Chase, Zay Flowers , Justin Jefferson, Jordan Addison
Christian Watson , Rashad Bateman , Armon St Brown , Jameson Williams
Jim Schwartz better have a plan shut those WRs down

Their coaches better have a plan to shut down our front four.

Luke Floriea seems quite impressive in camp

We weren’t ever going to select Hunter, we were going D and plus getting a 2026 1st round pick with the trade down.

You worry about the Bungles and Joe’s blind side week 1. smile. smile

And his front side, because Mason will be coming right up the middle.

He’s my early long shot that I hope will stick around. Goodbye David Bell and good luck to you.

Undrafted rookie receiver Luke Floriea, who went to Mentor and Kent State, continues to make plays.

“Luke has done a great job of learning the offense, of coming into camp in great condition,” pass game coordinator/receivers coach Chad O’Shea said. “We say ‘your job here is to get open and catch the ball,’ and he has certainly put that on tape and has been displayed on the field so far. He’s got a unique skill set to separate vs. tight man coverage, particularly in the slot alignment.”

Interesting that you named two Bengals first…

too bad for Emerson. Tough blow for him and our team

Yes he has. 84 has been seen making play after play. Both guys are 5’8. I wonder if there is room for either on the roster.

Bummer about Emerson.

I think we have depth here, but now we that much more reliant on Ward staying healthy.

There is no level of sucking we haven't seen; in fact, I'm pretty sure we hold the patents on a few levels of sucking NOBODY had seen until the past few years.

Could make for an interesting looking offense if Gabriel is their QB.

I like Greg Newsome

I think he is much better on the outside than the slot but moved to the slot because he was better there than any of our other DB's. I think the Browns move him back out there full time now that Emerson is injured. Hoping that I am right and newsome thrives.

Should make for an interesting off-season next year if he does well enough.

Damn, Emerson was one of my favorite players. Thats a huge blow especially when its pretty much a garuntee that ward will miss his usual 7 to 10 games
