this is why I think Hunter won't last long in the NFL playing both sides of the ball. His risk of injury is basically 100%

seems pretty bad... he'll go on IR for us for the year and get paid (unless another team picks him up, which is doubtful)

Personally I think the IR tag is a ploy to stash him on the reserve/practice squad etc roster before the 53 man cut down.

Can’t you go on pup and return in 6 weeks? How bad is his hamstring pull? Teams often do this with bottom of the roster, pre-season injured guys. This way they get a roster spot back, and can look at another guy. Pup is not for injuries sustained in games.
