I'm guessing this means Shelby Harris is safe (really like him but he's 34) and I'd bet they like Holley for the PS.

I’m thinking that the D line will be coached to ‘play the run on the way to the QB’.

Interesting nugget of information.

I was expecting something like this once the football brains got around to digging into the two games. I have cautious optimism coming out of preseason games where both of our rookies looked like the game wasn't too big for them. I hope the lower level of competition isn't taken as a knock against Shedeur. Both rookies had rookie moments but showed that there's potential there for much more.

There is no level of sucking we haven't seen; in fact, I'm pretty sure we hold the patents on a few levels of sucking NOBODY had seen until the past few years.

I think we said we are looking for a RB to put pressure on Judkins to sign without guarantees

"First down inside the 10. A score here will put us in the Super Bowl. Jeudy is far to the left as Njoku settles into the slot. Tillman is flanked out wide to the right. Judkins and Ford are split in the backfield as Flacco takes the snap ... Here we go."

Bond’s guarantee was 3 years and $3M

Judkins will be 4 years and $11.4M

I think they get language in there that it’s guaranteed as long as nothing else happens in the future. They can probably put language in there also that a suspension can prorate the game checks, not sure about that, but if they want to get around the possibility I’m sure it can get done. Obviously Judkins camp wants no language given the charges being dropped.

The NFL shouldn’t have a long process here on their investigation, I’m just not sure they are willing to fast track it given the Browns propensity to sign questionable players. Watson is probably inadvertently playing a part in the length of the decision.

Agreed. Get him signed as cheaply as possible.

From The Athletic piggybacking off of Russini's report...

The Browns need a bigger back with Quinshon Judkins still unsigned and away from the team. The Browns chose Judkins over TreVeyon Henderson in the draft in part because they viewed Judkins as a better scheme fit and better between-the-tackles runner.

Jerome Ford and Dylan Sampson are both smaller, more passing-down-type players. Keep an eye on Audric Estime if he doesn’t stick in Denver. Estime played under new Browns offensive coordinator Tommy Rees at Notre Dame. — Zac Jackson, Browns beat writer

I think we would like a little more experience in the room. As it stands we will be counting on 2-3 rookies. I think we are done with Strong so that leaves Ford as the only vet in the room.

I got a chance to talk to him, Baker, and Reid a few weeks ago. All three seam like good guys. It's a shame the kid will miss the season frown

Main thing in tomorrow’s game is no injuries. We’ve already lost a couple of guys and we don’t need any more.

I guess the easy cuts at this point. The harder cuts are being pounded out by the coaching staff..well, and Berry.

I know there is still an issue with Rasheed Rice’s suspension in KC. The league and the union are fighting over it. I guess they can’t do two things at once.

Roger as usual being heavy-handed. He seems to have more self-given judicial powers than the U.S. Supreme Court.

Judkins was cleared by you know... what’s known as a JUDGE, so the matter should be over with.

Very tough in releasing players to get to the 53-man roster. But that is the job and a business.

I'm a bit surprised. I thought they would keep Carter and try and get Larvadain on the practice Squad.

Seems like great news for Larvadain.
