She has covered the NFL "professionally" for ten years.

Aditi is highly respected by players, coaches and executives.

One of the best interviewers who cover the NFL.

Your broad brush unqualified portrayal of her is inaccurate.

She has covered teams for years. Knows the game inside and out from starting out covering high school football.

One of few qualified women who broke the male barrier of NFL coverage.

Aditi is a highly respected journalist and happens to be one of my favorites. I trust what she has to say, unlike some of the randos that get posted on here.

I think he competes and did well. Unduly harsh criticism in a win versus a tough club. Strong bias for SS again. I liked what I watched. I reject your attack on her; I like Aditi and her work and I have for years. Gabriel won't suit you in hindsight. Gabriel looked solid and played well in his first outing. Deserves at least grudging props.

I am sitting here wondering how you would write about your inflammatory posts like this. Couldn't be favorable. Last part is uncalled for. .02

Please do some damn research on Dillon Gabriel.

He's an excellent role model and has shown Hawaiian values throughout his career. One of his biggest idols is Marcus Mariota, who is very respected here due to heritage, morals, giving back to the islands, and living Aloha. He's an outstanding young player.

This is an example of media twisting words to fit their media clicks and viewership.

Black vs. White
National media vs. Local media
Tony Grossi vs. The rest of the world

Drama. Conflict. Favoritism.

Denzel Washington, Spike Lee, Stephen A and many more heavyweighters starting the get involved and sees what’s going on. I live in Scandinavia but even from distance I can see the storm is coming. It’s everywhere on social media.

We can call it whatever we want but when things aren’t fair, when there’s clear favoritism and people are treated differently, there will be reactions.

Dillon Gabriels first six seven throws was really good. Nothing spectacular but solid nice throws. Then he lost his composure and went on a patch with a couple of bad throws, bad decision making and fumbles. Nervous? Bad decision making? It’s ok whatever it was but his comments about entertainers and his following press conference was a disaster.
It doesn’t matter what he meant or not but the conflict, the drama and the toxic atmosphere was created in that moment.

It works in symbios. A weak leadership and certain members of local media who stir the pot.
Small becomes big. Right becomes wrong. It’s like a broken record.

I feel really sorry for Dillon because he’s clearly ill advised how to handle the spotlight.

Apologize and say it was badly worded, then maybe the narrative would be different. Now he’s put in an uncomfortable corner and in a battle he can’t win, and I’m not talking about the quarterback competition.

He’s talented and he will probably have a decent career as back up or a decent journey man, and to be perfectly clear it’s nothing wrong with that.
Only a very few make it to the NFL so his achievement is nothing to spit at.

Sometimes fans forum is like living in an alternative universe.
Things that have happened sometimes haven’t happened, but that’s ok because next week another controversy is on the horizon.

I have nothing whatsoever against Dillon Gabriel, why should I, he’s probably a nice and well educated guy but he said what he said and his INT and fumbles against the Eagles second and third stringers is on tape. Some see it, others don't.

His comments has a historical reference, as you all probably know, connected to his former HC who btw is a good friend to Stefanski, but let’s ignore that.
His bad spell later in the game exposed some of his limitations but we can ignore that too.
According to reports from local media his brain is like a super computer and it process faster than Chat GPT. That’s easy to forget when we judge him…
(the last part was irony because the hype from the local media.. but we never know how it will be interpreted when Pit has his best moments - hug my friend - you can take that)

The Browns coaches did their best to set him up with lots of time with short and medium throws and I honestly think thats the best way to make him comfortable.

I wish they gave Sanders similar opportunities but I perfectly understand how favoritism works so no big deal.

The stats from this season and the eye test says that Sanders has a higher floor and a higher ceiling. Numbers don’t lies and thankfully most of it is on tape.

Height matters. How to handle emotions and how you deal with pressure also matters. Some cope others don’t,
The longer this feud, created by poor management, goes on the more the (social) media pressure will distract those involved.
Dillon lost his concentration for a few moments and the damage was done, typical rookie mistake and we’ll have been there, nothing unusual.
Those who want to ignore that his comments created unnecessary drama and hostility can do so but the internet has other thoughts. Whatever Aditi thinks I and many others don’t need others to translate what we hear with our own ears. Not everybody believes everything that the media says to us and follows their recommendations like a bunch of sheep's.

The season will soon start and then the mood will go back to normal after a few wins and losses. It’s the hopes that kills us.

You post a media influencer link about how toxic it is with Sanders v Gabriel and then dump on a guy in his first NFL start... because of 1 play.

Wow.

If you actually bothered to watch the clip of his comments you would have seen his emotions were totally in check. But the reality is you really don't care about that.

How you derive at your conclusions.

I try to understand but I don't get it.

Your condescending comments about Aditi.

Your interpretation of plays. Coaching conspiracy theories.

I don’t understand why it’s so controversial. I like that you fight his corner but the chances are slim that he will the talking point in a couple of weeks.

His comments were reckless and unnecessary. Entertainer and competitors. Such a coincidence to mention just that.

It’s a talking point on internet and on most sport shows and some of you don’t even see the problem. ESPN - talk the feud between Dillon and Shedeur
Why should the new best friend Aditi even mention it and of top of that use lengthy part to defend him if it wasn’t a problem?
She could talk about absolutely everything else but she chose to protect just that, not his bad decision making who led to a INT (pick6), not his sacks and not his fumbles.

Come on! Is that the hill worth dying on?

Why is it so sensitive to mention that his performance was a mixed bag?
He started really well and ended bad. Why’s that so hard to say?

Is he better than Tua, Kyler Murray or Baker in the same age? Is he a starter as it stands? Is he better than Shedeur right here and now?
If that’s the case why all the drama and so much discussions?
I mean every former NFL player should be on his side if the answer was clear cut.

His height creates limitations. So far his athleticism isn’t on par with the very best.
His ability to keep his decision making in line the whole game must be improved otherwise the results will kill him.

These statements aren’t negative or controversial, it’s just how it’s.
You all can fight with me about whatever you want but that doesn’t take away the facts about his height, decision making and that his comments were unnecessary and at best a little bit reckless.

It's not that we don't see problems. It's that we don't create or buy into problems which don't exist. There's a difference. There's no point in fighting with you over nonsense.

The Browns search for a QB between 1999-2025 with G Bush

Yesterday Jason Kelce had some thoughts about the Browns quarterback competition …..
I don’t know why but the whole panel started laughing until they had tears in their eyes. :

Trolling again. A repeated smear story. Why does this appeal to you? Can't argue the perfection of hindsight.
No other clubs get this, none deserve this. Fashionable to belittle "your" team if the Browns come up. How much stock and credence do you give all this social media noise? No bearing on this season. Just giving Browns another black eye is the candy. Disappointed when the junk passes for sports journalism.

You want the board to take these posts seriously but then hit us with Garrett Bush. That's exactly the person Gabriel was talking about when he said his 'competitors vs entertainers'. That guy is a complete and total clown. Someone like him only gains relevance in a city completely devoid of actual journalism (like Cleveland).

Dillon Gabriel should have said nothing instead of his entertainers and competitors comment.

WTF Aditi! You set the poor guy up to a disaster and to make it a little bit worse you took him out for a second rodeo with that tweet with a wild bull he couldn’t handle. .

It was halftime. He’s a rookie, his first NFL game. Probably a little bit high on adrenaline. The media had blown the competition totally out of proportion.
His former HC in Oregon had a beef with Coach Prime and on top of that he’s a good friend with Stefanski.

What could possibly go wrong Aditi??
Now Dillon has to live with his “entertainer” garbage whenever things go wrong. That’s how social media and sport shows work.

NEVER EXPLAIN AND DEFEND. Rule number one. The more talk the worse it gets.
The polarization is now in full effect. Team Gabriel vs. Team Sanders.

Once again the Browns are in the spotlight and for all the wrong reasons.

Flacco 400 years old.
Pickett injured without any pre season practice.
Two young rookies. One has thrown touchdowns and no INT, the other the opposite. A brutal schedule and one injury away from total chaos.

What could possibly go wrong Kevin??

...the polarization is now in effect? Perhaps you should go back under the rock where you apparently live.

He's a competitor more than an entertainer. He's there to play ball not worry about how fanatics (/lunatics) interpret out of context quotes.

Unfortunately, the NFL is in the entertainment business and requires players to interact with the media or get fined. Saying nothing isn't an option and fanatics will find a way to get upset about something no matter what is or isn't said.

The coverage of the NFL is so over baked.

24/7 seven days a week. They have to talk about something no matter how meaningless.

Classic example. Pre-season game two. Nothing but second third string players along with guys who will not make a team.

A pick six on a play with players out of position and not being where they should be.

One Play in game two of pre season.

And we have judgement by media and fans on nothing. So, let's make a story about more nothing entertainers and competitors.

"He slighted Sheduer."

When you watch the full clip DG was not even talking about Sanders. I'm so tired of the morons who worship unproven players. Sanders did a fine job of putting the issue to rest today as he had a clear regression to his bad habits from Colorado. To be fair though, I don't think Sanders should have been playing today because he was clearly still hurt and it definitely affected the accuracy of his passes.

I think we have 2 future backup QBs and for where we drafted them that is fine with me.

I'm not sure what you mean. I am pretty patient. I am glad we are taking our time to bring our rookie QBs along slowly for a change. I don't have high expectations for them to begin with and I said so before the draft on Sanders. I didn't even know who DG was before the draft so I had no opinion on him but I feel he is just too short to be a franchise QB. So I don't see either of these guys as franchise QBs. It would make me very happy if EITHER of them surpass my expectations. That being said I think Sanders has a higher chance of becoming a starter if he stays humble and doesn't crack from the emotion stress of having someone other than his Dad coach him.

I think one thing people underestimate about Sanders is how HARD it is to be coached by your Dad your entire life and suddenly have to be coached by someone who is NOT your dad. Sanders is working hard but he is going to need some time to adjust to the NFL. All of his fanatics are going to break him though at this rate. They don't understand the stupid extra pressure they are putting on him just because they want to see him start no matter what. These people don't care about the Browns but want to see their shiny toy play or the world is against him and everyone is plotting against him. These idiots don't understand what this young man is going through and that he needs TIME to DEVELOP. I don't really find any faults at all with DG or SS. They are just rookies trying to learn and are doing so at a rate I expected of them.

I have said from the beginning that Flacco would start because he is the best QB on the team and it's not even close. I thought Pickett would be the natural back up to him. I felt they would then take their time to bring our drafted QBs along SLOWLY and the RIGHT WAY. I think we keep all 4 QBs because we have an aging 0 Line that seems to let our QBs get injured a lot. It's better to have 4 QBs we have trained and are ready to go than to be constantly scrambling for a guy off the street. We got lucky with Flacco but with no one else.

Next year, I expect us to let one of the rookies or Pickett become the starter unless Joe has some crazy amazing season and we decide to let him try his luck again and give DG and SS have even longer to develop. I am not so sure we draft a QB in 2026 unless the pick from Jacksonville is in the top 5 because if Flacco stays healthy the Browns pick wont even be in the top 15. I hope we end up drafting a elite WR or CB with our highest pick and then work on our O-line with the rest of our top picks.

So yeah with my expectation I think I am pretty patient except with the crazy SS fanatics who are just crazy people. Not all of SS fans are crazy people just the ones spouting nonsense about the Browns sabotaging Sanders and how they are out to get him or the complete morons that think the Browns are racist towards Sanders because he is black. I mean those people are just too stupid for me have any patience for. I have said it before and I will say it again. I really like BOTH our rookie QBs because they are BOTH fine young men and great human beings. I want them both to succeed. Just not at the expense of having a losing season to "seeing what we got" What I expect is that we let our vets start while we let the rookies marinade for a year or two unless they start to play so good we start them because they outperform everyone else. We have ruined so many rookie QBs over the years by rushing them to play when they were not ready so I am GLAD our rookie QBs are not starting right away.

Anyways, I am looking forward to this season and I am hoping the Browns go on a rampage with Flacco. I want Flacco to just humiliate all these sports writers who have been disrespecting him due to his age. I just can't help but root for the underdog =) I am a Browns fan after all so it's in my DNA. =)_

I see no reason why Joe can't play as well as Rodgers.

The big factor will be protection.

If Joe has time. He can spin it with the best. If we support him with protection and a run game. We will be fine.

I was concerned about receivers outside of Jeudy. However, I think Thrash has had a good camp and Tillman should be fine.

We have two TE's that will get plenty of catches.

Larvadain might make the team but they invested in Isaiah Bond who had a high draft grade and can fly.

I heard Greg Cosell on Bond and he likes him a lot.
