If Flacco stays healthy 8-9. If he gets hurt and they are forced to play the rooks 4-13 and both Berry and Stefanski gets fired.

I would say 6 wins. 3-3 in the division and out of Chicago, Tennessee, NY Jets and Miami 3 wins.

Last season I didn't watch all the games and the ones I did I walked away from the TV.
I don't want to start this season off feeling that I already don't want to see the games.
I'm going to go super homer just to keep some excitement and hope in order to be able to watch the games.
Hopefully Judkins gets signed and helps in the backfield.
I think two QBs play this season. Flacco and Watson.

7 - 10 Optimistic that the tougher TC as opposed to Camp Cupcake will offer some improvement. If we can stay healthy, maybe a wee bit more.

5 and 12. The Browns had the lowest ranked triplets ( QB RB WR) In the entire league at 32. The Ravens were 1. The defense is lacking depth in the back 7. A defense needs playmakers at all 3 levels to be top 5 quality And the same on offense . You need playmakers at QB RB WR.

12-5 IF Joe Flacco stays healthy. I honestly believe Flacco can take us to the playoffs even if he only plays half as good at 2023 but from what I saw in camp he looks like he is playing even better than in 2023. He is loose and relaxed and throwing missiles that can be a TD pass any time he throws. I would not be surprised if the first play of the offense is a 60 yard missile every single game as a way for Joe to say, "You WILL defend the pass or I will eat you alive!" This should open the running game up or else Joe is going to throw a LOT of TDs.

Cincinnati - LOSS (3-22-1 season opener record) since 1998 at Baltimore -WIN Green Bay - WIN at Detroit - LOSS Minnesota - WIN at Pittsburgh - WIN Miami - LOSS at New England - WIN at NY Jets - WIN Baltimore - LOSS at Las Vegas - WIN San Francisco - LOSS Tennessee - LOSS at Chicago - WIN Buffalo - LOSS Pittsburgh - LOSS at Cincinnati - WIN
9-7 seems like a real possibility barring injuries.
3-4 key injuries.... 6-10 is the reality.
Hunter + Dart = This is the way.

Cincinnati - LOSS at Baltimore - LOSS Green Bay - LOSS at Detroit - LOSS Minnesota - WIN at Pittsburgh - LOSS Miami - WIN at New England - LOSS at NY Jets - LOSS Baltimore - LOSS at Las Vegas - WIN San Francisco - LOSS Tennessee - WIN at Chicago - LOSS Buffalo - LOSS Pittsburgh - LOSS at Cincinnati - LOSS You have to go back to the 2017 0-16 team to see a division sweep. If nothing else, this team has been built to play the AFC North. Only 3 wins last year and two were against the Steelers and Ravens. This is an exercise in futility since no one can predict what 32 teams are going to go through for 18 weeks. But for giggles, I put the Browns win total at 9 wins for the year. This defense has playmakers at every level with the addition of Schwesinger at LB and Graham in the trenches. They have arguably the best player in the entire NFL on defense in Myles. A top level DB in Ward. The combination of the 4, if healthy, could elevate every player around them. I have high hopes for 2025, but it’s going to be nail biters every week to see how well the offense can play to not let the defense down. I’d feel a lot better if Judkins were in the backfield.

I think I am going to stick to no hard predictions and watch the games without expectations. Hoping we can compete in most games even if we come out on the wrong side.
Peyton Manning was 39 in his last season - and if anyone can remember that year, his brain worked just fine, the body and the arm was a shell of hmself. Joe Flacco is 40 ... he's unlikely to last the entire season. The OL seems to lack some depth. We have a lot of potential at WR and TE. Hopefully we can sign Judkins in time for him to make an impact down the stretch. I like the defense - but not if they have to be on the field for 40+ minutes most games.
Realistically - 4 wins or less and it's a giant fail for the team/FO and using the QB as an excuse would be just that, an excuse. 6-8 games is sort of where I'd imagine we'll end up, and we'll probably get to see Gabriel play some games. 9 wins or more would be a tremendous acheivement.
*edit - is it me or does predicting the wins/losses to a 17 game season still feel wierd to others too

*edit - is it me or does predicting the wins/losses to a 17 game season still feel wierd to others too It does. We need to be predicting 20 games. Six is the probable number. Nine if everything breaks our way.

Don't have a clue what the record will be.
But I will predict how we will play.
IMO the defense will keep us in games. The defense will be good.
Flacco will be Joe. He will make big plays and turn the ball over. If and most likely when Gabriel gets to play. He will be a shocker. IMO he is way better than people think.
I liked what I saw of Thrash in pre-season. Tillman has tools. Bond could add a different dimension.
I don't know about the run game. Until I see Judkins and Sampson play.
We could win 5, 8, 10 games. It all depends on what we get from the offense.

Shhhhhhh. Your saying out loud the bit I am trying to not admit to myself how I feel. Been bitten too many times with some of our QB's - but there is a part of me (that I am trying to surpress) that thinks we might have a genuine gem on our hands, and with the low draft selection and Joe in house ... it actually can be a perfect opportunity to bring him along slow.
The more things change the more they stay the same.

We'll go how the OL goes. I'm not sure how that's going to go.
If the interior gets whooped by Cincinnati, it's going to be a long season. I'm hopeful we'll be the ones laying the pain in the trenches, but I've got to see it.

I think predicting the W/L record before the season begins is an exercise in futility. We can't see into the future in regards to injuries of not only the Browns, but the injuries of our opponents at the time they come up on the schedule. Although some seem to think they can, nobody has any idea of how Dillon Gabriel will perform if he is pressed into action.
How healthy the OL and secondary stay will play a big part in this. How the Judkins situation plays out will also be a big part of it. All of those are unknowns to everyone.
However this has been an annual tradition on this board since I can remember. So having said all of that and without any idea how accurate it many or may not be.......
10-7
Intoducing for The Cleveland Browns, Quarterback Deshawn "The Predator" Watson. He will also be the one to choose your next head coach.

I think we have a very good team with our main starters. The problem is that we don't have great depth. As the injuries go so goes our season. I just feel like this year is going to be a good year to watch the Browns.

I can't believe that we're going into the season with jerome freaking ford as out RB1, when only a couple years ago we had both Chubb and Hunt, so I just want to say: EFF minkah fitzpatrick wherever you are
