Both offenses are good. I don't think Philly loses this one
"First down inside the 10. A score here will put us in the Super Bowl. Jeudy is far to the left as Njoku settles into the slot. Tillman is flanked out wide to the right. Judkins and Ford are split in the backfield as Flacco takes the snap ... Here we go."

The weather delay sucks
I hope it doesn't take the energy out of the game
I probably won't be able to finish the game

Well the Cowboys had a chance. Dropped pass and an overthrow did them in.

The cowboys are the most over-hyped under performing team in the NFL.
Everyday "Get UP" and the following shows have to spend at least half of the time talking about them.
Like it is station policy. Nauseous really.
In the end when the rubber meets the road. They fail.

I wasn't able to finish the came
Even being on vacation I thought I could LOL
I see the score was 20 -24, that's what it was when the weather delay hit
Did the delay seem to affect the energy at all ?

After the weather delay Cee Dee couldn't catch a cold. That was very odd. The difference between before the weather delay and after it was like day and night. It either did one of two things. Zapped the life out of both offenses or lit a fire under both defenses. Possibly some of both. But it was certainly like watching two different games.

Ceedee is such a reliable guy too. 3-4 drops in big spots

Jalen Carter ejected for spitting on Dak
Both teams playing hard

Exciting game ! Upon further review, looks like Dak started the spitting contest. Was it directed at him? Probably not, but it landed on him all the same. Curious to see if there will be any repercussions on Dak or if the NFL decides not to fine Carter after seeing the film... or they disregard the video leading up to this and fine and/or suspend Carter. If they do, it's ridiculous.

Dak did not spit on anyone. It landed on the ground well before it could have possibly have hit Carter. Carter by contrast walked right up to Dak's face and spit directly on him. People trying to use that as an excuse for Carter's actions are being ridiculous. I'm sure all the other 30 NFL teams see now easily Carter is triggered and will be trying to use it to their advantage exactly as I would. My advice to Carter? Stop being a punk. You're hurting your team. Grow up.

I'm not excusing Carter, I'm merely stating I believe Dak should have repercussions as well.

What rule did Dak break for which he should face repercussions? None. Nothing else matters. Facts are not excuses.
"Yeah but he made Carter mad first" is what an excuse looks like.

"Yeah but he made Carter mad first" is what an excuse looks like. Taunting is supposedly a point of emphasis. Spitting in someone's direction could readily be categorized as such. Did Carter escalate? Yes. But the refs could have flagged Dak to defuse the situation. At worst call offsetting penalties and fine Carter later. Felt like the NFL's gambling partners didn't want the Eagles covering the spread from the jump. The Cowboys LT should have been ejected for throwing a haymaker if you want to be a stickler for the rules.

Being a stickler? Nah. I guess what constitutes taunting is somewhat subjective. Thus the "could" part of your post. Actually purposefully spitting on someone isn't.

Spit on a guy - get ejected
Smack a guy in the head after the play is over - ok
NFL rules will never make sense to me.
It's supposed to be hard! If it wasn't hard, everyone would do it. The hard... is what makes it great!

I don't think it's really about the rules so much as it's what the refs see verses what they don't see.

Good catch, I wonder if NFL went back and checked games if any players would be left to play.

I don't think it's really about the rules so much as it's what the refs see verses what they don't see. There was a ref ~10 yards behind the tackle with an unobstructed view whose job is to watch the tackle If either of the guys that threw headshots played for the favorites, they'd have been ejected, imo. Legalized gambling (and the NFL being in business with the industry) is so bad for the integrity of the game.

I certainly believes it adds to suspicions. And possibly there may be a hint of truth to it. But that would bring somewhat of a conspiracy theory into things. The NFL would have to itself be gambling on the games to have a vested interest in the outcome. The NFL would then have to enter into a conspiracy to defraud with the refs themselves. At this time with nothing factual with which to base that on, it's just a bridge too far far me.

The NFL is getting a stake in ESPN, which has a betting platform, in it's pending NFL Network deal. It's bringing in hundreds of millions of dollars in sponsorship deals with other gambling entities. The league has a vested interest in those continuing to do well financially. The CBA allows owners to be invested in gambling operations.
It doesn't have to be betting on specific games. It could just be let's try to keep these games close so people stay interested, especially in standalone games. When there's a big spread, that can be rather beneficial for sportsbooks. When in doubt, side with what will likely keep things closer appeared to be the policy so far.

That's certainly a valid way to look at it. They must be in constant contact with the refs so as the line constantly changes they can let them know how many points to shave right before the kickoff.
I mean they only stopped Philly from beating the line by 3 points. That was sure a close one.

The Ravens and Bills need to play each other every week. Instant classic. The plays made in this game were unreal.
Incredible comeback.
