Joe is our starter.
The reasons for that are clear with how camp went.
However, at the same time it is clear to me Joe's true role should be veteran backup.
Joe is not the guy to take a team deep into the playoffs.
The Browns don't have the offensive players to make Joe a better quarterback.
His lack of mobility is clear. He doesn't have the ability to make the team around him better. He can't do the things complete quarterbacks do to win games.
Well so far the results back up your claims. Soon we will have 0 wins and 2 losses.

We had a different situation, but one where the team was doing nothing nonetheless .... until the starting QB got hurt .... and the a rookie named Baker Mayfield came in and ralleyed the team to their 1st win in over a season. Wonder whatever happened to that young man.  Anyway, start Dillon. Could it be any worse?

I don't think that starting a QB who makes Bernie look mobile at this point is a great idea .....

This’s the Berry and Stefanski era we’re witnessing. While that's technically true its also hard to have a team full of awesome draft picks when you haven't had a draft for 3 years. Paging Mr. Watson. Deshaun Watson. Come on down! This is what you get when you give up multiple drafts AND the player doesnt work. We will be picking top 3 next year and its exactly why we traded down to get a 2nd #1 next year. Everyone in Berea knows what this season is, and it isn't a bunch of winning.
