- Absolutely embarrassing performance.

- I still do not understand the point in Flacco. It's a waste of time with no upside.

- The offense is really, really bad.

- The OL is old and slow. Dawand Jones is a backup at best.

- The rookies looked good for the most part.

- Hats off to Szmyt.

- Defense contained Henry as the always do.

- Get Ward pallets of Pedialyte.

- The combination of Harden/Mitchell is rough.

15 more opportunities.

I would start Joe next week and if things start to go south, which probably will happen, then I'd put Dillon in. Green bay's D will be tough with Parsons. You don't want to see him get beat up.

Anybody thinking Flacco was going to bring back that fools good performance from 2023 is just silly .
This oline was so over rated going into the year.
Dwand Jones is like a refrigerator. Berry still has yet to find a competent LT.
The Ravens have playmakers all over. Shut down Henry
No problem. Hopkins , Walker , Flowers are playmakers.
This roster is Berry's fault . Yet people still applaud him

- ST's has been a complete disaster both games
- Our OL sucks .. old, no push, slow
- We have very few playmakers
- Flacco is a statue and is good for 2-3 TO prone balls a game
- Our defense is good until they get worn down or injured, which is the case

Gonna be a LONG year again

"First down inside the 10. A score here will put us in the Super Bowl. Jeudy is far to the left as Njoku settles into the slot. Tillman is flanked out wide to the right. Judkins and Ford are split in the backfield as Flacco takes the snap ... Here we go."

Depressing to watch another good effort from the defense get wasted.

Just keep on losing for the #1 pick.

we have so many holes on the offensive side of the ball. Basically every OL spot, WR, and obviously QB

- Flacco looked really bad. I didn't see the whole field during the game, obviously, but what seems missing after two weeks are deep throw opportunities...perhaps a result of the OL. His INT in the second half was atrocious and all on him. Jeudy dropping passes again.

- The cornerback room needs help. I thought after the Emerson injury we'd target someone in a trade or FA, but not to be. But, honestly, does it make a difference to spend in a presumed "down year"? Not sure about Hickman, either.

- Browns DL look good. I feel like we do well against Henry in recent years and we did again today.

I feel like the same could be said in regards to the Pickett trade if we were 0-2. It was to bide time for the rookies to play. The difference, for me at least, would have been Flacco had a history of lightening in the bottle with Stefanski. Not that we didn't have that last week, but we surely didn't have it today. I don't think a switch will happen next week agains the Packers, but I wouldn't be surprised if it's not too far away.

Yep. This was my concern before the season started along with the defensive backfield. No depth on the OL either and didn't bother to draft an O-lineman in the past draft either. Zinter can't even make the game day roster.

With Pickett, there was at least the irrational hope for a Darnold-type scenario tongue. The injury left them little choice, no matter how long they tried to wait for him to comeback from it.

I was unable to watch the game. How did Judkins look. I saw his YPC was good, but how was his vision, hitting holes, evading & escaping tackles etc.

Offensively, other than Fannin he was the one thing we can come away from this game feeling good about. He looked good, especially with only having a couple days of practice over the last few months.

Thanks. I was hoping he would look good, but didn't expect it because it was his first game. Maybe, since he played well, Roger G will see the need for a long suspension.

The kicker is back in my good graces. For now.

Judkins showed some pop. I think we’re gonna like him.

Our D played them tough, but the fumble return for a TD, the blocked punt, the inability to push the ball downfield on too many third and longs, (we need our WRs to get open) eventually wore out the D.

We were only down 7 at the half, if that means anything.

There was one play when we had a screen set up that might have went for big yards, but Pocic was late getting out to make the block and the play was blown up.

The Ravens have a good front but our OL must, MUST get better at creating some run lanes.

For that reason I would allow Myles through his agent seek a trade. The Parsons trade gives us the benchmark. A good player plus 2 first rounders.

That would be 3 first rounders next year and 2 the year after. Plus the good starter to be named. Myles keeps us in games, but he doesn't win games.

In general I though joe looked disinterested. Dillion provided a spark in garbage time. I am not sure what Ravens defenders were in the game but it doesn't matter, that TD pass was well defended and it was a perfect pass.

Judkins shows some burst. I think he will be good.

Fannin looks good as well. Good enough I would look to move Njoku. I doubt we will look to sign him to another contract so we might as well get something for him.

Not much posting going on here. There’s much disinterest and I can understand why. Very sad 2 games into a new season. 🙁

it's as apathetic as I've been after WEEK TWO in my life. There's just nothing escaping a double digit loss season

Garbage time. The Browns gained ~57% of their yardage after being down 3 scores.

Myles has to be totally disgusted and I don’t blame him. We’ll be out of it by the trade deadline probably way before that. I would consider trade offers for him. He’s as good if not better than Parsons and we saw what Dallas got. JMO

Would hate to see them both go, but trades are the only way out of this train wreck. I agree with you

We really found a gem in Fannin, guy has skills. Berry actually had a great draft for once.

If we win next week and the Bungles lose, we’re right there in the AFC North race.

I’m not ready to throw in the towel.

problem is we play the packers, who are going to be very well rested and probably the best team in the NFL right now

Also , Sampson completely whiffed on a block, snd Hickman couldn’t stop the guy who blocked the punt.

Our secondary needs help, Mitchell isn’t playing well and gives up too many completions. Is Ward OK?

I know this won't go over well for most of this board

I kind of wish Watson was ready to go

Then if needed Gabriel

The Defense is being insulted again by piss poor Offense play

The Browns could easily be 2-0 if they had a QB and a ST's coach

So, here’s my issue with this thread. We are pointing out the holes in the team and the answer is to poke more holes in the team and fill the holes with draft picks, most of which do not live up to expectations?

If it’s me, the best thing this team has going for it right now is a championship level defense, don’t take the best piece on that side of the ball away.

Second thing is making sure we have a complimentary piece to pair with Fannin. I would like to re-sign Njoku because he is good in the locker room and very competent at his position. Getting a 3rd round draft pick for him does nothing to help this team.

I agree with the evaluation of the oline, we’ve been talking about it since Joe Thomas retired. We are going to have to take flyers on guys until we find good replacement parts, at least until Watsons money is cleared off the cap.

To trade good pieces for draft picks doesn’t change any outcomes.

I don't think our OL play has been talked about enough by the talking heads/cleveland media - our OL is really bad

They (CLE talking heads) only talk about Shedeur and the kicker. This week will be non stop talk of "is it time to bench Flacco?" Two years in a row the OL has entered the season with serious concerns and nothing had/has been done to improve the line or plan for the future.
