Sorry to hear about his passing.

I loved a bunch of his movies. He seemed to be a good man.

My mom used to have Robert Redford pillow cases. At least I think it was him/can't remember for sure. I'm surprised my father put up with that, but I think he thought it was funny.

Actually if you stop to think about it there's two reasons that wouldn't bother your dad.

1. Seeing someone she thought was sexy every night before they went to be might put her in "the mood". Advantage dad.

2. Why should it bother him? He had to know she was never going to get any of that. naughtydevil

On a more serious note. It was sad to hear of his passing. I watched many of his earlier films and a few of his later ones. He was not only a great actor but also a very good film maker.

RIP Robert Redford.

I texted my older sister and she said the pillow cases might have actually been Frank Sinatra, aka 'old blue eyes.' I think she's probably right.

An industry giant who didn’t care about stardom. He cared about doing quality work, making movies HE wanted to make.

I loved his narration in the movie "A River Runs Through It."

He directed the movie which was a terrific family novella written by Norman Maclean.

Redford always had class.

One would be hard pressed to find someone who didn't like Robert Redford movies. My favorite was "Lions for Lambs" which he directed and co-starred with Tom Cruise and Merryl Streep. Everything about it was excellent.

R.I.P Robert. A life well done.

I’ve never even heard of that movie, but I would bet it’s a good film, considering the acting talent.

Merryl Streep is as good as any actor, man or woman.

I remember being like 12 years old on vacation with my whole family. My uncle (the cool uncle) would let me stay up really late with him, eat junk food and watch classic movies ... Butch Cassidy was one of them. Always has been one of my favorites since
