Unless you're counting anybody whose opinion of the topic falls short of 100% unwavering and unquestioned support of Israel... I completely agree with you.

I've mentioned this before... I never agreed with the "durability" (not sure of the right word here) of our relationship with Israel. It seems like simply acknowledging Israel's portion of responsibility to the violence in Gaza is equivalent to treason. The "blank check" we've consistently granted them despite some of their actions doesn't make sense, IMO.

So along those lines, an agreement that doesn't even acknowledge a significant portion of the problem doesn't inspire a ton of confidence. That said, what's been achieved so far is reason for cautious optimism, at least.

In case you missed it we have had posters respond to articles that have posted this, "Do you expect us to read all of that?"

So let's not pretend that there aren't people who post here that seem to have the attention span of a gnat. They are smart enough to understand it but just don't care enough to be bothered with spending enough time to read or listen in order to find out. Those are two different things.

So you read it and listened and have an informd opinion of the content? Or you just want to be a snowflake and B*tch about other people's posts because you are offended by the pointed message that many of the MAGA posters couldn't make their way through more than a meme or soundbite?

What's been acheived so far is remarkable and brilliant. And idiots in the media and SM claiming Trump should have won the Nobel Peace Prize - or likewise proclaiming that this is already some sort of lasting peace whereby every Palestinian should be rejoicing and singing Trump's praises should not distract from the phenominal step in the right direction.

That said - it is also possible to walk and chew gum at the same time and acknowledge the enormous obstacles in the way of acheiving a lasting peace -- and the enormous voids and red flags that much of the agreement contains (or omits).

I would also like to address this "double standard" which was brought up. If anyone created such a "double standard" it was trump. It was he who claimed he should win the Nobel Peace Prize based on the fact that he "stopped eight wars" in nine months. That was the grounds as to why he claimed he should win. So there was no double standard created by any posters, democrats or liberals. It was simply moving forward with the very basis trump used to begin with.......

"Nobody in history has solved eight wars in a period of nine months. And I've stopped eight wars. That's never happened before. But they'll have to do what they do. Whatever they do is fine," Trump said of Ukraine and Russia.

Trump said he didn't oversee the Gaza peace deal to win a prize: "I did it to save lives." Though he's made clear the prize would be nice.

"I deserve it," Trump said of the Nobel back in February, "but they would never give it to me."

As has been shown, all of these events happened well after the nomination for this Years Nobel Peace Prize had ended. And as the evidence clearly shows the only people that are upset about it are those who trump misled into thinking these events made him eligible for this years Nobel Peace Prize. Those willing to believe anything he says rather than to find out for themselves.

Let's ignore that most all of those were never actually "wars" to begin with. Never mind that Modi as well as the leader of the Pakistani military both stated trump had nothing to do with their agreement to stop the violence.

But if someone is going to point the finger at some double standard at least point it at the person who created that standard to begin with instead of others.

The genocide worked? Trump wants to shove peace down their throats… and I’m all for peace… but until it’s all final and our POTUS butts out of gaza, this is not peace.

Where are all the idiot protesters now? Hamas publicly executed Palestinians, and no one protests. No one cares? Why? They are all hypocrites' antisemites!!!

Israeli officials have stated that the Rafah border crossing between Gaza and Egypt will remain closed until further notice. This was announced on October 18, 2025, after a U.S.-brokered ceasefire was implemented, and follows Israel's capture of the Gazan side of the crossing in May 2024.
Reasons for the continued closure
Hostage remains: Israel's Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's office explicitly stated that reopening the crossing would depend on Hamas fulfilling its obligation to return the bodies of deceased Israeli hostages.
Accusations of ceasefire violations: Both the Israeli government and Hamas have traded accusations of violating the ceasefire, creating tension that has affected the border status.
Military control: The Israeli military took "operational control" of the Gazan side of the Rafah crossing in May 2024 and has retained it, further restricting entry into the territory.

The only one unhinged here is the one person that keeps claiming the innocent women and children of Gaza are Hamas and that bombing them in their homes is a war on Hamas. Thousands upon thousands of Israeli citizens were demonstrating in the streets of israel for the war to end. According to your way of thinking all of those Israeli's must have been supporting Hamas and be antisemites too.
