Depo got out before he was fired, going back to Baseball.
The Browns were nothing more than an "analytics experiment" for Depo to play around with. How much of an analytics blowup the Browns will experience depends on Haslam and how well the team plays over the remaining games.
Depo returning to baseball is just the beginning of the Browns front office shakeup .

I wonder how many feel that Depo suckered them and played them for fools?
...That is exactly what he did and many actually thought Depo could transform the Browns into a winning franchise by taking analytic shortcuts.
There are no shortcuts when it comes to judging football talent. Scouting requires someone to get out of the office and watch the individual perform on the field.

Analytics give you statistics based on past events. It doesn't predict the future. Most people grasp that concept.

...That is exactly what he did [/color] Well that's your opinion, not fact. And in answer to your question..... Not many feel that way. Not many at all. And the more attention they paid the less they think that.

Yes Mac I watched the entire video you posted with 3 guys saying over and over that they have no clue what Depo did, while you claim they know what depo did.

The Browns plunge into analytics started in 2016 not 2020 so you might try reflecting upon the bigger picture. Tell us what analytics did for the Browns starting at the "beginning", in 2016.
The Browns record since allowing analytics to guide the Browns franchise...

Depo took a better job. He may be gone, but his systems are in place and will continue to be used by the people he trained. Analytics isn't going anywhere.
