Bravo for your fandom.
I am so close to giving up.
If we only had a quarterback I believed in. I would be ok. I could handle team building.
it is really hard to watch a team that you feel has no chance of scoring.
This year I have turned the game on and quickly questioned why watch this?
Football is not interesting to me if you are not competitive. You have to feel you can win or else it is only frustration.
Going into this game I don't feel we a chance. I see no way to win this game.

I suspect that we'll see some of the backup OL as we get later into the season. Wypler is behind Pocic right now. He'll probably move into a styarting role next year. Let's not forget that the interior OL is the best part of our OL right now.
You talk about the Tackles not being able to stay on the field, and you're right. That's why Zinter is inactive. They keep a backup Tackle active, along with a swing backup Guard/Tackle. That's why they keep certain players active on gamedays. I wouldn't be so ready to write of the younger IOL just yet. I also wouldn't dismis an IOL because he's a late round pick. Heck, Mike Baab was a 5th rounder. JC Tretter was a 4th rounder. Hank Fraley was undrafted. You can often find IOL later in the draft. Wyatt Teller was originally a 5th round pick.
I agree 100% with you on the stupidity of pushing dead cap forward and forward. That was all because of the stupidity of signing Watson to a moronic contract.

Reality is finally settling in for those who thought Berry and Stefanski
Had this team in the right direction. Berry took a playoff roster and completely turned it to
A expansion roster. Berry did nothing to upgrade the offense this off season
Stefanski sounds like a AI every press conference
" we have to play better . I have to coach better. We will fix it"
That's all he says .
And the kicker is ..there is no indication this will be a playoff team even
Within 3 years . Berry and Stefanski simply are poor judges of talent
And the coaching staff can't develop talent

Stefanski doesn't draft or sign players. Berry does. So make up your mind. Is it Berry giving Stefanski no talent to work with or is it that Stefanski can't develop talent? If Berry isn't drafting and signing talented players and doesn't recognize talent, at least according to you, then how is it you think Stefanski can develop talent he isn't being given?

The Cleveland Browns completely altered their future in 2022 with one move. After their saga with Baker Mayfield, the Browns secured who they thought would be their franchise quarterback by trading for Deshaun Watson. Despite the sexual assault allegations and his previous injuries, Cleveland believed that Watson was their guy.
That move has nearly single-handedly derailed the Browns’ future. During that time period, Watson has missed time due to injury and the 11-game suspension for his misconduct. Last season, the Browns quarterback suffered an Achilles tear that ended his campaign prematurely. That, coupled with his poor performance when he was on the field, has brought into question why Cleveland made that trade in the first place.
Former Browns chief strategy officer Paul DePodesta was recently asked about the Watson trade. Even though he took a new role as the Colorado Rockies’ president of baseball operations, DePodesta couldn’t avoid the now-infamous trade. The former Browns executive took responsibility for the organization’s decision.
“Those are organizational decisions,” DePodesta said, per ESPN. “Those are done collaboratively, a lot of people on board, and if you’re a senior leader of that organization at that time, then you own that decision. It’s the way I feel about almost all the decisions we made there in Cleveland. I absolutely own them all.”
The Watson trade has blown up in Cleveland’s face in more ways than one. The Browns quarterback has played in just 19 games through three seasons, sporting a dreadful 61.2% completion rate and amassing just 3,365 yards. He’s thrown 19 touchdowns to 12 interceptions as he struggled with injuries, even before tearing his Achilles. Watson is gearing up towards a return this season, but given Cleveland’s current standings, that might not be a wise decision.
To add insult to injury, the Browns’ previous franchise quarterback, Baker Mayfield, is currently thriving in Tampa Bay. Cleveland’s laundry list of quarterback failures just continue to pile up, and now they have an issue on their hands as they look to try and build some sort of a cohesive team.

How should you evaluate players and results when some in the organization doesn’t show honest ambitions to do all they can to win?
Even if you tried very few would have done worse than this FO when it comes to prioritizing, timing and selecting quarterbacks. It’s almost as you suspect it’s deliberately. I don’t know what’s worse. Incompetence? Lack of ambitions? Deliberate dishonesty?
How can you expect a general manager and head coach who constantly lose to erase a collective deep rooted losing mentality and creates winners?
If the decision makers in six seasons haven’t fully implemented their strategies, philosophies and tactical ideas into a winning formula that’s can develop into something that can take this organization forward it will never happen. What was new six years ago is past it today, the NFL is developing almost every week so those who stand stil will be behind.
It soon comes to the point when people lose interest, doesn’t care or starts to prioritize their time better.
That’s what this current leadership has done. Damped interest, ambitions and reduced many peoples passion.

There is no level of sucking we haven't seen; in fact, I'm pretty sure we hold the patents on a few levels of sucking NOBODY had seen until the past few years.

What Now- name of thread--- Lost season, put every "good" scout we have on evaluating QBs- both QBs this season are a waste, HAVE to find a QB- no other mission- Denver and NYG found at least serviceable ones- no pressure- our turn next. Plus Oline help.
