My thoughts: It went better than I expected, to be honest.
Sanders is simply not good, and I don't give a rat's butt for all the "didn't get reps with the 1's" talk because reps with the ones doesn't affect holding the ball, running backwards, and taking sacks just like he did in college.
It's a sample size of 1, but it was pretty bad. Gabriel looked like an All-Pro by comparison. I think what you might be saying is, WE don't have a QB that we can consistently win with. Honestly I don't know that we do either.

Hard to fault him as much after finding out these were literally his first reps with the 1s. That is a complete failure on the coaching staff. I understand giving the other rookie more than usual reps but to give Sanders literally no reps is a recipe for disaster. There is no built in rhythm or even timing to go off of. He was literally hung out to dry with nothing to go off of and the horrible line blocking for him. Everything i have read and heard is that back-ups don't get #1 reps in practice with any NFL team. The only reason this is being discussed is that our QB is named Shedeur Sanders. I haven't seen hype like this since we drafted Brady Quinn.

If there were a like button I would have used it.
Intoducing for The Cleveland Browns, Quarterback Deshawn "The Predator" Watson. He will also be the one to choose your next head coach.

Also, keep in mind that we were starting an unprepped rookie.... the same people that are criticizing about Shedeur's practice reps would be having kittens if they learned a backup was taking reps from a starter that needs all the prep he can get.
There is no level of sucking we haven't seen; in fact, I'm pretty sure we hold the patents on a few levels of sucking NOBODY had seen until the past few years.

I asked my cousin about this (He's an EX-NFL player) and he said the only time that he's known that a backup QB got 1st team reps was when there was some question as to if the starting QB would be able to play that week.
