There are two factors I think need to be considered going into this. With the wind and the weather who really believes Stefanski will game plan around depending on the passing game and why would he?
And secondly considering those same weather conditions and Sanders limited experience, with the ball feeling more like a rock than a football, who could really expect him to perform well under those conditions?
I think it sets up a scenario where it may give all of the Sanders detractors an opportunity to pounce using this game as an example of how he "isn't a real NFL QB".
I'm far from being sold that he is an NFL starting caliber QB but certainly wouldn't use a game like this as an example as to why I feel that way.
The odds of him playing "well" in these conditions isn't good for him, nor any QB as far as that goes but it isn't impossible.
Intoducing for The Cleveland Browns, Quarterback Deshawn "The Predator" Watson. He will also be the one to choose your next head coach.

In these weather conditions people may wish to lower their expectations on expecting "improvement" from Sanders. These conditions would be a huge test for almost any NFL QB much less one with little starting experience. If he does poorly I won't hold it against him. I also feel the Bears will use the passing game more sparingly than they normally do.

In bad conditions - the play is going to suffer so it will be hard for Sanders to show much and it will be a pleasant surprise if he does well. The performance of the team - how well they are prepared, coached, execute the simple things... I think that will be a bigger factor and telling point than anything. I don't know anything about CHI this year - so I guess we'll see.
I understand that losing potentially or does give the Browns higher draft picks - but I will never for the life of me undetstand or agree that any head coach or football team wants to go out and lose. I could see an owner thinking that way or possibly a GM. But for a team that has been ''The Clowns" or "Browns are going to Browns" for essentially the last 26 years ... finding ways to win, finding some toughness, finding a will and determination to make something go The Browns way instead of inventing new ways to suffer and lose is so so so so much more important than a higher draft pick.. You don't change the losing culture in Berea by being satisfied with going out and losing.
The more things change the more they stay the same.

Freezing cold.
But he will not have the wind he had last Sunday.
No matter this will be a test. I have low expectations. I am curious though in how he handles this.

With that injury report and weather, not a chance. Sanders should be sacked no less than 6 times. Browns lose 28-10 I was close.
If it's not Chaos, it's not Cleveland.

I don't know anything about CHI this year - so I guess we'll see. We saw that the team was not prepared on any side of the ball. They couldn't execute well. It was cold, I've seen weather where the wind was blowing and the snow was a factor. I didn't feel the weather was really bad conditions. More passing today than most thought. I figured with Ward out, Williams would throw more.

Myles sack record means nothing to me.
If the Browns were in the play - offs as a team.
Then maybe I would care more about an individual record, than a 3- 11 team struggling.
I understand it's not Myles fault that the offense sucked.
The Defense has also sucked even being ranked 2nd

Well I knew it would be bad ... but even pessimistic me could not imagine THAT bad =(
You can't fix stupid but you can destroy ignorance. When you destroy ignorance you remove the justifications for evil. If you want to destroy evil then educate our people. Hate is a tool of the stupid to deal with what they can't understand.

By "hold up" I actually meant something VERY different than what I wrote. Work is hectic right now and many of my posts aren't written all in one go. When I start responding, stop, and come back it makes it hard(er) to type out a coherent thought.
What I was trying to say is that when I look at our schedule, I believe our SoS would've been VERY high to start the year, but should drop as we finish out the year (Pittsburgh, Ravens, Vikings, among others, started the year strong but are starting to rack up losses). I do see the Jets picking up another win before the end of the year, but not sure about the rest.

What do you mean it's real hectic right now? I mean, what has to happen for someone to say "Oh, F#%$, get Oober!!" C'mon man, this is next year's draft we're talking about... get your priorities straight!!
That's the biggest thing that's counter-intuitive, besides the whole SoS tiebreaker being mentally counter-intuitive in the first place... we expected to have a tougher schedule and expected it to be tougher at the beginning. But the Steelers are about average, the Ravens are a tad worse, the Bengals suck, the Vikings have been on a roller coaster and the Lions are Jekyll and Hyde. That has made the back-end tougher. I would have never thought (at the beginning of the year) that we would be holding SoS tiebreakers playing in the AFC North with the front-end of our schedule.
Take a break, or a day off -- or just hit me up if you need me to do some of your work -- I've got AI.

I know... that first part you wrote is where my heart is right now. Just gotta get to the end of this week but apparently sr leadership here woke up and chose violence and now it's a mad dash to the end of the year (even though nothing we make this week or end of last is likely to ship out before second week of January.
IMO, Pitt coming out as strong as they did was the surprising part. I think they've done an admirable job keeping that D as effective as it has been... but they are a team that's desperately trying NOT to go into decline.

The Steelers are always the embodiment of their coach... and Tomlin seems like the type that would walk five miles through rubble with two broken legs.
Hang in there, bro. Hopefully a sigh of relief is right around the corner.
