I think at the point when the SCOTUS allowed trump to withhold EBT payments they knew they had been beaten. Someone needed to be human enough to see that 42 million Americans had food. Trump fought in court to refuse feeding people. That's just disgusting.

At some point people needed to put feeding people over their tribe. I'm not so sure I would consider that a sign of weakness.

The good news is that if all the retirements take place in January, the house will flip before that funding deadline. The bad news is Trump will hurt working class and poor Americans if dems don’t play ball just like last time.
