Whats everybody thoughts on this. I posted it on my Facebook this morning after one of my steeler fan friends posted about how the NFL was trying to hand Myles the record when he got credit for the 1/2 sack.

Food for thought when Browns fans complain about the refs.
In the 2025 NFL season,
no player has been penalized for offensive holding specifically against Myles Garrett.
While the Cleveland Browns' opponents have incurred offensive holding penalties throughout the season, none of those specific penalties have been officially attributed to the player blocking Myles Garrett in the game logs or league statistics.

Of course Steeler fans would say that.

That is the way the NFL ruled because of the way the play went. There is precedent.

Plus like you said. I have seen Myles held like vice grips so often and not called it is sickening.

I don't care about Steelers or their fans.

Myles will break the record because he earned it.

I was just shocked that there was not even ONE single holding called ALL SEASON. Not possible. I just wonder how many times it was called on guys blocking Straham and Watt when they lead the league in sacks?

I was able to watch the game yesterday. I saw at least 2 occasions where Myles was being held and what about the play where his helmet was ripped off?

They say holding could be called on every play and I really don't doubt that. But there is a difference in degrees. There's sticking a paw out there and latching on for second which is also holding then there's aggressively grabbing and hanging onto a player with both hands for dear life.

We see that aggressive, hanging on with both hands holding committed against Myles often with no flags anywhere to be found.

If one compared it to a crime it would be like the difference in involuntary holding verses holding in the first degree.

Intoducing for The Cleveland Browns, Quarterback Deshawn "The Predator" Watson. He will also be the one to choose your next head coach.
