I like RB Sanders better than Sampson. 100% Sanders looks like Chubb at times.

- Myles gets the sack record
- Two Browns defenders pay homage to Marshawn Lynch on TD celebrations
- Kev gets to ride off into the sunset with a victory

I've been sick with a sore throat, cold and bronchitis now for two weeks, haven't worked in days. My nose is running like a faucet. But you know what? I feel a little bit better now. Thanks Browns!!! What a win!
P.S. I really thought in typical Browns fashion we'd lose this game at the end.

Awesome to get a win. Now let's keep our picks and not trade up for a QB. I was very happy to see SS step up in the pocket on that last drive instead of fading backwards. I don't remember which completion it was but I hope that improvement continues. Not that I think he is the answer, but I want to see more. Glad they won, unless we trade both picks and high one next year to move up.

All-call over intercom: Paging Dr. Callahan, paging Doctor Callahan, you are wanted in surgery.
Retain Joe Thomas to assist; replace ST coach. I would like to see this before we draft. I believe we need to fix sidelines first.

ON the first one Bush grabbed his crotch while in midair. After typing that I just realized that may be the only time I ever type that sentence again. This actually made me LOL! 🤣

Personally I prefer to draft 6th off the back of 2 wins than 4th and have lost those games. Looking at the reaction of players I believe they want to win and it is important to them as well. Looking at KS - maybe it's just the end of a long season but it looked like he was coaching his last game for the Browns. If he and Berry stay I hope they perform consistently at their best - if they leave I'll also wish them the best, just not be rooting for them each week.
Shedeur looked like he took another step back early in the game - but hard to say when you look at the OL and the pressure. At one point the commentators mentioned Cinci only rushing 4 - but it didn't look like it because SS had pressure in his face quickly on (virtually) every play. Not helped by Fannin being out. Q being out. Njoku being out. I'm not sure where I am with SS. He's shown flashes - he's shown coachability - he has a solid demeanor and lead the team down on the final drive under pressure ... Unless something weird and a fluke happens in the draft for a QB the Browns are stone cold certain is a FQB is available at #6 I am all for trading down. Either more picks this year or another 1st for next year. Try to swap a couple of the 5th round picks we have and upgrade them to 4th or 3rd round picks.
Defense was exceptional given we were down to 3rd and 4th string CB's and no Schwesinger. Good to see MG get the record - the stats in the post above are insane! It feels like the Browns better be competitive next year or that relationship is going to sour - reading the comments he made about wanting to be with the Browns and his answer was he wants to win ... I think we might have 1 season left to get on track. Joe T was a generational LT who played an entire career for a losing organization. I don't see MG being that same guy.
Final thought on the final game - hats off to Szmyt ... quite the full circle. Honestly didn't think he would miss even from 58 yards if that was what it would have been (Cinci not hopping over the OL not withstanding).
The more things change the more they stay the same.

I like RB Sanders better than Sampson. Different type back, but I like the Rocket a lot. I liked him when he played at South Carolina. His body and running style remind me of Jamel Lewis. We need to keep him. He will be a great stand-in for Judkins, and who knows, maybe Judkins will be the stand-in? Either way, we have 2 very good ram rod runners.

The defense scored 14 of the 20 points today. Thank you D for winning this game almost totally on your own. Not only did you score 14 points you held the Bengals to 18 points.
Sanders went 11-22 For 50% pass completions. He has 7td's compared to 10int's on the year. He led the O to scoring a grand total of 6 points.
There's no doubt they should stick with Sanders for another season. It looks like they might have found their guy!
Intoducing for The Cleveland Browns, Quarterback Deshawn "The Predator" Watson. He will also be the one to choose your next head coach.

Great and telling stats, and they are "major" main stream stats, not cherry-picked anomalies or numbers from an extreme game For those who have pushed "to see what we have in SS, you have seen his production across multiple games. Think as you wish, we still need a QB. I don't want to build around this player. Look at how many problems the lack of a QB caused as well as the degree of problems you choose. I do not see much ceiling in his underperformance. We need to set this bar higher.

I say that after listening him talk this last half of the season, ranting about some spiritual problem but getting a pat on the back...wtf are you talking about? So, Shedufus is the name until something changes. No wonder he dropped from a 1st round candidate to being lucky we drafted him in the 5th. I am confident most teams dropped him from draft boards and put him on UDFA boards after listening to him.

I have no use for this SS option. "Waiting to see what we have" just gave us more of the same; I think he looked bad and showed his he is not what you need to build an offense. Stats for his games indicate otherwise to me. We need something more reliable at QB; expecting to find the "fix" in a rookie "miracle cure" draft pick seems blindly wishful. Add a new HC to the chore, and I think it becomes more unlikely.
