Since it seems some seriously think Harbaugh would come here in the first place, here's the only outside shot scenario I see it working. If Haslam agrees to let Harbaugh hand pick his own GM. It's not as if Haslam never hired a HC first and let that coach be a part of the GM hiring process before. But with Harbaugh I don't think being a part of the process would be enough. He would have to have control.

As we saw with watson, once Haslam sees that bright shiny object, he will let nothing stand in his way to get it.

As of now it appears Barry has Haslam in his hip pocket. But I guess we'll just have to wait and see how far down that pocket he is buried.

Since at this point in time it seems everyone is just throwing crap against the wall to see what sticks, there's my contribution to it. naughtydevil

Intoducing for The Cleveland Browns, Quarterback Deshawn "The Predator" Watson. He will also be the one to choose your next head coach.

Miami will go hard after Harbaugh.

The owner is tight with Harbaugh family.

McDaniels is IMO a OC not head coach.

I hope the Browns do not consider him for other than OC.

McDaniels as OC and Schwartz as head coach would be interesting.

It was rumored that the Browns have been interested in McDaniels for a while, but I'm at a loss to explain why that would be or what the connection is.

I'm with you that I don't think he's anywhere near talented enough as a coach (head or OC) to make up for his goofy approach. Dude shouldn't be a serious consideration.

He destroyed the Browns in a game.

His offense is very inventive. The route concepts are really good.

He will be hired IMO but not as a head coach.

From what I've read McDaniels he has a good football mind but just isn't a leader of men and doesn't manage his staff well, poor communicator. So, naturally, he's perfect for the Browns.

The Browns will look at a bunch of people.

I would not even venture a guess.

The only thing that I think changes this entire process is Harbaugh.

Haslam would hire him in a heartbeat. If he were to say yes. Everything else would stop.

Berry will begin the parade but Haslam would end it with a yes from Harbaugh.

I'm not even entertaining the Harbaugh thought. I mean, there's a chance I could wind up with Gal Godot. Not a very good chance, mind you. Probably best I not spend too much time on that one.

The top 10 NFL standings

1. Bo NIx
2. Sam Darnold
3. Derek Maye
4. Trevor Lawrence
5. CJ Stroud
6. Matthew Stafford
7. Josh Allen
8. Brock Purdy
9. Caleb Williams
10. Jalen Hurts

I can keep going. Herbert, Rodgers, Love...etc. These are the QBs that made the playoffs. I highly doubt all those HC's are leader of men. I will guess they can manage a team and know how to get the best from their star QBs or get the most of their talented QBs.

Edit: apologies if I’m coming off harsh. Most of these coaches are good managers and creative offensively

My personal rankings for the Browns next HC

1, Chris Shula DC LAR
2, Jessie Minter DC LAC
3, Mario Cristobal HC Miami Hurricanes
4, Jim Schwartz DC Clevelan Browns

Out of left field: Grant Udinski OC Jacksonville Jaguars

My prediction?
Mike McCarthy: IMO Hue Jackson 2.0

Harbaugh or bust. Give him whatever he wants. Give him so much money he can't refuse and fire everyone he doesn't want. PERIOD. I bet he would keep our DC too.
