Man, what a great pair of games. Both with lead changes very late. Rams, who were behind late come back to beat the Panthers, but the Bears, who were down big early, come all the way back to beat the Packers.
Exciting way to open the playoffs!

Wonder why this doesn't show on the main screen?

Those were two very good games! No snoozers or blowouts. Just when I thought the Packers, Bears game was going to be a blowout, the Bears once again gave proof they are the scrappy team that just won't quit. They have been a huge surprise this season.
Intoducing for The Cleveland Browns, Quarterback Deshawn "The Predator" Watson. He will also be the one to choose your next head coach.

I normally can't stay awake to finish the night games.
The Bears / Packers game I started to fade. Then the Bears started to come back, woke me wide awake ! lol
I don't know why, I didn't realize Bryce Young was 5'10 205 lbs. He looked small, but played big.

Had to work overnight last night. Went to get a few hours of sleep when it was 21-3. Woke up and the Bears won. Didn't expect to see that.
It's supposed to be hard! If it wasn't hard, everyone would do it. The hard... is what makes it great!

WOW!
What a great football game. They were really going after each other old school style.
Loud and clear IMO Josh Allen is the best player in football.
What a stud. Heart, mind, skill, he can spin, and run you over, is the full package.

Jennings pass to MCCaffrey was awesome
Jennings took a big hit
I wonder if that was Purdy if it would have been a penalty, roughing the passer
Jennings was the passer, no penalty called ?

Newsome made Barry look good again today. He got beat on a couple throws late that cost the Jags the lead.

The playoff games so far have been exceptional.
Close hard fought games. Great plays and players.
Some spectacular throws.
I am so envious of being in the playoffs. The intensity and atmosphere are palatable.
One thing stands out for sure. You are not going to win without great quarterback play.
Josh Allen gets the ball with four minutes with the game on the line. Drives the entire field and plows through the line to score the winning touchdown.
Every win was due their quarterbacks making big plays.
Until the Browns have a playoff caliber quarterback. Nothing will be accomplished.

What a stud. Heart, mind, skill, he can spin, and run you over, is the full package. Heard. It is a privilege to watch this man play football. No, he's not perfect. Yes, he falls into grooves where you're yelling "get your head out of your a$$, Josh!" But some of the plays, some of the comebacks, will be talked about for generations with hyperbole reserved only for the all-time greats. Because many of the things he does simply cannot be done by others. He is my favorite player, and that may be my favorite team.

If Pittsburgh loses tonight, this may be my favorite weekend of football ever. Great games, great stories, great contrast from team to team.
Watching BUF at JAX yesterday and knowing the final drive needed only be 20some yards before that kicker could possibly win the game with a 70 yarder brings an element we've never seen before. Essentially, playing JAX, you cannot let them have the ball last unless you have a four-point lead!

Josh Allen's numbers in post season play are astounding.
His team lost.
He never played better.
Every time I see him I think damn Mel Kiper was right on that one. He is not right all the time but when that draft was going down.
Mel said. "If the Browns want to swing big he is the guy to draft. He has the most potential."
He discarded his college stats.
Kiper acknowledged Allen's unimpressive college statistics but emphasized that the NFL draft is about projection and Allen had a high ceiling with all the physical tools coaches look for.

Not hard to do.
My wife and I spent a few days in Buffalo over the summer. No reason. Just a pick a point on the map road trip. Whether in a small general store outside the city or a bar in the thick of things, five minutes won't pass before someone mentions Josh Allen and the Bills. His name rings everywhere, his face is everywhere.
After all the talk of elite, and all the pontificating of what it takes to win a championship; all fans really want is someone to cheer for. A football hero that you stand behind, win, lose or tie.

Well, GM says our FO was split between Allen and Mayfield. I honestly think our decision was based on "safety" and the notion that we just cannot mess this up again. It was the biggest mistake in our history. We passed on someone with tools we had never seen in the toolbox before. And those that got caught up in the stats must have been blind. Everything was right there if you just watched the tape. I'm a nobody - I stated clearly that if his accuracy never improved it wouldn't matter. You would be trading 2.3 completions per game for someone that can throw to all parts of the field, from any angle, at any velocity, and runs like Gronk in the open field... after he runs over a LB. No brainer.

That is the essence of being a fan. I felt like that with Bernie.
I liked Baker. I still root for him.
It was clear what Allen could do.
When you watched his college tape. You could see the team depended upon him. His numbers were not great because he was expected to win every play.
The same with Mahomes. He forced balls. But right off I saw things others could never do.
I want to believe so bad. When Allen got that ball with 4 minutes to go. I knew he would not fail.
That is what I want.

Could Drew Allar be this drafts Josh Allen? I don't think he would ever be quite as dynamic "off script" and not nearly the same threat with his feet; but there's no reason to discount the tools and say he can't be a fQB. I wouldn't draft him at 6, would you draft him at 24?

Maybe I would draft him in the 2nd round. Definitely in the 3rd. I don't think he would be around after that. It would depend on who we took up to that point and how he looked in workouts.
