Title: Mass exodus hits Justice Department's Civil Rights Division amid lack of action in Minneapolis, sources say

Text: At least six prosecutors, most of whom are supervisors in the Civil Rights Division's criminal section, will be leaving their jobs.

Same old, same old. Make the b.s. headline as dramatic as possible, fill the story with "some say" and "others think"s, press send and call it a day.

FACTS:

What is publicly known
Advocacy groups and former DOJ lawyers reported that the Civil Rights Division had about 365 attorneys as of January 2025, before large-scale departures.

Those same sources say that roughly 70% of those attorneys have since left or been forced out, implying that only around 100–110 attorneys remain if those figures are accurate.

News coverage of recent resignations surrounding the Minneapolis ICE shooting controversy focuses on a handful of senior prosecutors leaving the Criminal Section, but does not provide a complete headcount for prosecutors across the entire division

So, they've been throwing a hissy fit since Trump took office and over 250 have left. But these six? THIS is the mass exodus. rofl
