Well I suppose using that logic makes it all better. Just like committing genocide by stealing this country from Native Americans and then raising hell by calling other people illegal for being here. Then there were Jim Crow laws after that. But heck, that was a long time ago too. I mean they pretty much ended back in 1965. Then there was red lining.

But I think we should all forget about those things. I mean they're being removed from our museums, even in some schools because we wouldn't want to hurt anyone's feelings or make them ashamed to be white by teaching history.

We didn't steal it, we conquered it... and taking issue with illegals is part of ensuring WE don't invite our own conquering (like the Native Americans tried, but waited too long).

It isn't rhetoric, it is simply what it is: Facts. If you don't protect your home, nobody will.

It is not about race. It is about our Country. We have allowed people here that hate our country. We have allowed people here that have benefited from our country at the expensive of people that were born here. Getting illegals out of the country is not about race. Never has been and never will be. It is about protecting our citizens. There are legal ways to become a citizen of the country and choosing to circumvent that hurts all American citizens and those future American citizens that choose to become a citizen legally.

Conquering does place a nice spin on stealing something. It makes it sound so much more palatable to some people. It's also a great substitute for the word genocide.

And I would certainly agree that it's most likely those who steal things from others that would be most qualified in having things not stolen back from them.

Since facts seem to matter to you, when you take something from someone else, especially by force, you stole it from them. No matter what word you use to replace that with. And even using God as an excuse to do so by calling it "manifest destiny" won't change that.

All land is conquered. It has been that way since the beginning of time and will be that way until the Lord comes back. Then he will conquer it all and reign overall.

If you are a believer God created the earth so it has belonged to him from the very beginning. That means he can't steal what is already his. In that case conquering simply means he is reasserting his authority to something which already belongs to him.

This isn't the same thing. The only reason man uses the word conquer is because it's the winners who write history. There is no way they would ever simply admit they stole the land from the people who were there first.

Please explain to me how you can go to land you never lived in before, kill its inhabitants, take that land from them and that isn't stealing it? This should be good......

Conquering, stealing whatever. They won! They are the winners to the winners go the spoils. Like it or not that is how it works. That is another reason why trying to make the males in a society soft is stupid. Because there is another society that is sure not doing that and they will eventually act. Having strength in power is a very good thing. Having a strong leader is a good thing. Having strong people and especially males is a good thing.

Somehow people can't comprehend the difference in being strong and and feeling you have to act like an azzhole 24/7. Acting like an azzhole 24/7 doesn't make people like Captain Bone Spurs tough. Playing the part of the bully doesn't make you tough or strong. It means you take advantage of those weaker than yourself. It makes you a punk.

Being tough isn't stealing our nation from people with primitive weapons. But I understand people are having trouble defining what "winning" means these days.

I don't have an issue stopping people coming into the country across the southern border. The numbers that came across during Biden's term were WAY to high. I dont have a problem with illegals that commit crimes being deported. What ICE is doing is nothing I agree with. They are operating above the law and bullying and terrorising us citizens without any accountability. They have shot/murdered two MN US citizens. They are 2 steps away from what we'd call a police state a decade or two ago before Trump and Bannon and his ilk just obliterated anything resembling a "norm"...

None of that is particularly relevant to Trump posting overtly racist memes of the Obamas... again. The only relevance is how someone pivoted the conversation about an openly racist President to having a country conquered or taken away from Americans.

On that subject ... The US being "conquered".... There have been many empires throughout history. They come and go. If you want to call the USAs current status and run as the #1 world influence and economy as a modern Empire .... It is far far far more likely to be torn apart and destroyed as we've known it for the last 200 years by the likes of t Trump and other extreme politicians intent on polarization rather than looking to the center and what unites the vast majority ... Than anything to do with immigration.

Libs can cry all day long about the poor Indians losing their land to the settlers. I don't see you or that idiot singer giving your land back to the Indians. Heck she even has a gated fence protecting her property from illegal entry into her property even though she does not think anyone is illegal. I would have to believe that you would be quite upset if you came home and someone was in your house. Bottomline is the Indians lost their land to a superior force. That is why our nation needs strong defenses, a strong leader, and strong men to defend it. Because the wolves are out there like it or not. Those same Indians stole land from other tribes all the time also. They did not play nice like Libs want us all to believe either with us or each other. They knew the score and they were on the losing side of that score. Just like they were on the winning side when they took the land from other tribes. It is well documented about the Indians battles between tribes and the loss of territory.

Once again, there is a huge difference between "our nation needs strong defenses" and stealing a nation from others. In one case you are defending yourself and what's yours. In the other case you are attacking others and taking what's theirs. I have no idea what is so complicated about that you can't wrap your mind around it. Once again, trump acting like a petulant child and threatening nations weaker than ourselves doesn't make him strong. it makes him little more than a school yard bully. He doesn't dare threaten nations with a strong military. He only takes on the weak.

The Indians were defeated in battle. They were a defeated people. They lost their land. If it makes you feel better our ancestors stole the land. Who cares. The only difference is that we actually committed genocide to wipe out those who were here before us. I'm all for removing convicted criminals and people who offer no value or nor contribute to our society or pay taxes. I'm not for herding people up like cattle with the use of force who contribute to our society, work and have committed no crime other than misdemeanor by crossing our border illegally. You keep talking about "doing it the legal way". Yet many people going through the asylum proces which is the legal way are being herded like cattle too.

I get it. That's a middle ground. That's not some super liberal "Let then all stay" nor a "Herd them all up and deport them!"
