Interesting how the Browns players graded their Coaches last season.

Kevin Stefanski C-. Lowest graded head coach in the NFL by his players. 32 out of 32. Not to be out done Bubba Ventrone graded a D. Offensive Coordinator Tommy Reese a D+ graded just slightly better than Bubba. Defensive Coordinator Jim Schwartz A- no surprise he graded out the best of all Browns. Owner Jimmy Haslam and General Manager Andrew Berry both graded out as a C by the players. Interesting. Seems like the players might have come to same conclusion as FO. 3 Lowest graded coaches all fired. Stefanski, Ventrone, and Reese.

That was a surprise to me.

As was Berry getting a C while KS was a C- ... Stefanski getting a C- really does say a lot in my opinion.

On the one hand players are closer to this than anyone - so their opinions are valid and perhaps shine a light on things we as fans can only normally speculate on. On the other hand, a bit like fans opinions, I am sure winning cures a lot of issues when it comes to Coach/GM/Ownership.

When I get a moment, I'm going to look up the report cards from the last couple years. I find I'm far more interested in how the scores move year-over-year than the scores themselves.

Say what you want about Jimmy, but he's not scared of putting money in the team's infrastructure. They've kicked off a lot in the way of renovations to Berea over the past few years, and I expect the new stadium to lift some of those remaining lagging scores as well.

People have their own opinions about Jimmy Haslam but I said it before that I think he’s a good owner. He may have made mistakes but he’s truly trying to bring a winning team here. He’s been willing to spend money to do so and I agree that the new stadium will help those scores. I hope the latest moves are the beginnings of a successful new era that will make us a winner.

I really like Jimmy Haslam. I think he needs to back off more and let those that he employs to run his team do so, but he wants to win and he spends to try to win. If Watson was who they thought, he was when they made the trade the team was ready to win. They rightfully decided that Baker was not the QB to ever get a team to the Superbowl. They just swung and missed with Watson. I truly believe that if they get the team back ready to win Jimmy will do what he needs to do to try to get this team over the top. I appreciate that in an Owner.

I tried to have AI put that in a table but it wasn't very successful. I also asked for the same as far as 2026 team grades for locker room and team travel and got: "Because I can’t see the complete structured table of all 32 locker‑room grades at once, I’d be guessing if I tried to give you an exact ordered list from 1 to 32."

My suspicion was that most teams think their locker rooms and team travel sucks. I could be wrong.

j/c:

These grades are stupid and flawed. You have players only grading their current situation and most have no clue of the other team's amenities (or lack thereof) to compare for anything reasonably fair as far as a grading scale between teams is concerned.
