Really seems unlikely that we didn't bomb that school... Given the level of incompetence of the Trump Admin, they never thought to check to see if Innocents might be in the path of bombs. They just aren't smart enough to look!

This thread is ridiculous. First the president is an idiot that shouldn’t speak. However, it is very plausible and maybe even more likely that it was an Iranian missile that was jammed. The tomahawk missile (munition in question) has a 1000 pound warhead. It would take out a much larger area than what was taken out. It is possible the warhead didn’t detonate but I find that doubtful. Now media outlets in the US are saying that a new video suggests that the Iranian media is correct. The video shows a missile before impact. The American media says it is a tomahawk. I’m not so sure. The vanes are in the wrong positions and the angle of attack seems too steep for a tomahawk. The pentagon is still investigating the incident.

No matter what happened it was a tragedy. All those children gone in a blink of an eye. To me it is highly unlikely that it was intentional or happened because of Pete Hegseth. Only a moron in my mind would come to that conclusion. Military strikes are planned by people far lower down the food chain and are double and tripled checked targets.

The President is indeed an idiot. We can agree on that.

I don't know what the acceptable level of children and innocent civilians dying is during a USA war of choice - but there certainly seems to be a lot of other sources indicating this was a tomahawk missile and that it was from the US

"Wes Bryant, a national security analyst who served in the US Air Force, also confirmed it was a Tomahawk missile."
"An ongoing internet blackout in Iran has made it difficult to independently verify details of the incident. Restrictions on international journalists' ability to report freely in Iran makes it very hard to be sure exactly what happened in Minab on 28 February."
Article also states the clinic (target) is approximately 200m (650ft) from the school. So not at all unrealistic to think this could happen.

I also agree that the decisions on the ground operationally are not made by Hegseth ... but much like Trump and his fanboys wanted to blame Biden for the operational execution of the withdrawal from Afghanistan in 2021 which would have been planned and executed by others - Hegseth and Trump own what happens in Iran, now and for the following decades, after choosing to go to war. The Biden administration were withdrawing based on a timeline set by Trump - it was executed by those in the military and Biden was royally, and utterly vilified and crucified for what happened ... it is only possible for a true fanboy to give Trump and Hegseth a pass on what happens in Iran and all the fallout that follows.
