I bet he doesn't even make it that far. If the Dems flip the house and the senate, Trump will get impeached and this time it probably will stick and he'll be removed.

Before that can happen, he'll resign, Vance will take over and Pardon Trump for all his misdeeds.. Except state charges.. Of which I suspect will be many more than before.,

For some reason this is a fallacy that seems to be believed by a lot of democrats.

It would take a two thirds margin, or 67 out of 100 votes in the senate to remove a president from office. Even if the democrats take control of the senate it would never be even close to that large of a margin.

All we would see is what we have seen in the past. A vote from the house to impeach the president that would end up being nothing more than a piece of paper.

The exception would be if evidence came out that that the DOJ destroyed Epstein evidence at trumps direction, or if there was definitive proof that trump ordered the attack on iran because it would lead to financial gain for him, his family, and his cronies and that there was intelligence that he had that there was nothing close to an imminent threat. Or something along those lines.

I am not saying either example is true. But as long as the repubes control the house and/or senate, they will provide too. much blockade into any investigation of trump for us to find out. Should the dems get a sizable majority in both (unlikely) then tthe repubes ability to cover for their persident would be compromised and a real investigationcould be performed.
