As ever - if he's guilty I hope he faces the full weight of the law and is prosecuted and convicted. Not sure why he's considered a traitor for sexual misconduct.
Shame that wanting all politicians to pay for their illegal activities isn't common across all parties and all politicians. I mean we've got the Trump administration actively delaying the release of the Epstein files the most high profile sexual monster in recent history, together with Ghislaine Maxwell his chief partner in crime now in a minimum security prison - and It's a non story for some.
The Party told you to reject the evidence of your eyes and ears. It was their final, most essential command.
It's tempting to see this and complain about consistency across the political spectrum, but at the end of the day any time you can take out the trash it's a good thing.
"I'll take your word at face value. I have never met you but I assume you have a face..lol"
It is. If he is guilty he should pay the price for it. Injecting propaganda that this somehow makes him a traitor seems to be the game they play these days however. I think that's why they like using rando's from X so much instead of actual news sources.

Let's not forget that Swalwell is facing allegations from staffers and he deserves the right to face the process of investigation and the right to plead his case and defend himself in a court of law..if he broke any laws.
I'm a bit concerned about the timing of the alleged conduct that is said to have occurred years ago. Swalwell deserves a trial and to be judged by a jury or judge.
If the allegations are judged to be true, Swalwell should be subjected to punishment according to the law. But if he is judged not guilty, so be it.
I have to hear the facts of the case before I judge anyone guilty...jmho
LMAO - McCarthy is definitely a stand up guy who would never shill for anyone. Let's actually wait and see. . . like I said - if he's actually guilty of something (bearing in mind how corrupt this DOJ has been in going after political adversaries) then prosecute him to the fullest.
The Party told you to reject the evidence of your eyes and ears. It was their final, most essential command.
None of this is difficult. When you have four women accusing you a pattern has developed. When it's a he said she said the water is a little more murky. But when it becomes a he said she said, she said, she said and she said it's time to get him out of there. Remove them both and move on.
This should not be a partisan issue. This is a sexual abuse issue and no side is absolved from such actions.
And while they're at it 28 women have publicly accused Donald Trump of various forms of sexual misconduct, ranging from sexual assault and harassment to unwelcome kissing and groping, dating back to the 1970s.

I think this would be a more effective 'gotcha' if at least half of Congress didn't have similar skeletons in their closet. Let's face it, the only difference between Swalwell and a significant portion of politicians on both sides of the aisle is that his misdeeds are getting airtime.

Democrat Eric Swalwell and Republican Tony Gonzales Resign from Congress amid Sexual Misconduct Scandals
Both politicians shared news of their resignations on social media on Monday, April 13
Eric Swalwell and Tony Gonzales are resigning from Congress amid sexual misconduct accusations
Swalwell, a Democrat who represented the state of California, has been publicly accused of misconduct by at least four women, which he has vehemently denied
Gonzales had previously decided not to run for reelection amid criticism over his relationship with former staffer Regina Santos-Aviles, who died by suicide in 2025
I agree, Gonzales broke house rules. The difference is his seems to be a consentual agreement.
??? Consensual Suicide ??? Really... the person killed herself by "self immolation" which is lighting yourself on fire!
from wikipedia
"In 2026, Gonzales initially ran for re-election. He faced and denied allegations of a sexual affair with a staffer who had later killed herself by self-immolation.[12] After failing to secure more than 50% of the vote in the primary on March 3, he was set to face Brandon Herrera in a runoff scheduled for May 2026. On March 4, Gonzales admitted to the affair,[13] dropping his re-election campaign amid pressure from party leadership the following day.[14] On April 13, 2026, he announced he would resign.[15][16]"
Welcome back, Joe, we missed you!…. That did not age well.

They had a consensual relationship. That CANNOT be that hard to understand. You sound like you think he set her on fire. Is that what you think?
That's who he is. It's been covered on every news outlet I've seen. But hey, making a joke out of rape is all the rage in trumplandia these days. When they elect a man that's been accused of sexual misconduct by 28 women what else can you expect from them? All they have in response is just crazy BS like that. Even a jury found trump to be libel of sexual assault. But hey, in their world that makes him eligible to be the leader of our country. Freedumb! Murica!

It's just bizarre to me that someone is drugging and raping women and Daman needs a "gotcha". Like seriously - seek help.
What's bizarre is that you can't seem to see the result is the same,, RAPE. And therefore the conclusion should be the same... FIRED, QUIT, RESIGN whatever... Be Gone..
Next, why don't you get trump out of office.. Pretty clear he did the same thing... Even got convicted for it.

Took 12 seconds. But instead you wrote something that was nonsense.
I didn't write nonsense; I asked a simple question. Lefty networks are very choosy about what they report. I'm genuinely curious because this seems like a well-orchestrated coup by the Demons in charge. Swalli was obviously overstepping his boundaries and quest for power. Nancy said "no-no" (just my opinion) and they had this dude primed for prison time in three days flat. Talk about Epic Fury!
For someone genuinely curious, the answer took about 12 seconds. A little longer than it took you to write the additional sentence at the end of your post.
Putting all that aside. Assuming the accusations are true, and there is no reason I see to doubt them, I hope Swalwell roasts in hell for eternity after serving the maximum punishment possible.

Again, seek help. You seldom know what you're even talking about. Gonzo was in a consensual relationship. That will never be "rape". Rape is what you do with our allotted server space here. You rape it with some of the dumbest comments I've ever seen on the internet.
And Trump didn't rape anyone either; nor get "convicted for it".

Actually, that's simply not true. "Lefty" networks as you call them report the exact same stuff... The difference is the "Righty" networks tell you want to think of things that report.... The main stream media reports what's happened or what is said, then they leave it to you to decide what it's about and what it means.,
But I get why you don't like the Main Stream or "Lefty Media,.... None of them are kissing trumps Butt....

I would just ignore my posts then. I asked a question because this is a discussion forum. Essentially, you're saying "shut up and Google it for yourself". So, honestly, don't even reply to my posts, that will take you zero seconds.

Your networks report almost nothing on illegals killing US citizens.
The right tells me what to think, but the left does not? That's criminally stupid, although I'm not surprised.
Sheridan Gorman, a Loyola University Chicago student, was allegedly killed by Jose Medina, described in the cited report as an illegal immigrant from Venezuela; the same report says ABC, CBS, and NBC gave it only brief airtime, with CBS at about two minutes, ABC at 79 seconds, and NBC at 23 seconds.
Stephanie Minter, 41, was reportedly stabbed to death near Mount Vernon, Virginia, and the cited report says the alleged killer, Abdul Jalloh, was an illegal immigrant with more than 30 arrests; it also says ABC, CBS, NBC, PBS, and NPR were searched without finding coverage.
Rachel Morin, a Maryland mother, was killed by an undocumented migrant, and the cited coverage-analysis reports say the network news mention was only 12 seconds across the big three, compared with much heavier coverage of the Kilmar Abrego Garcia deportation case.
DaCara Thompson, a 19-year-old Black woman in Maryland, was allegedly murdered by Hugo Hernandez-Mendez, described in the cited report as an illegal immigrant; that report says the story got zero network coverage.
Laken Riley was killed by an undocumented immigrant, and the cited report says major networks largely skipped or minimized the story while it became a major political issue elsewhere.
Jocelyn Nungaray’s killing was also referenced in the cited coverage critique as a case that received far less network attention than other immigration stories.
