I seldom see the games, not paying for the priviledge of watching regular season as I have enough streaming services already.
I did watch the full-game highlights, and yeah, Harden is ridiculous. He meshes well with the bigs on this team and he won't be bullied in the big games. Great trade.
Cavs win again, beating a very scrappy Hornets team. Allen again with a huge game. Nice win, especially they played last night in Cleveland, and then tonight in Charlotte.
Micah 6:8; He has shown you, O mortal, what is good. And what does the Lord require of you? To act justly and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with your God.
John 14:19 Jesus said: Because I live, you also will live.
To be fair, neither did another single player in the entire league. Victor Wembanyama swept the votes and became the first unanimous victor in the NBA's history of the award.
Eventually someone needs to look into where James is acquiring the human embryos for whatever type of gene-splicing voodoo he's doing. This dude is 41.
First off good luck to the Cavs tonight in game 7. Secondly, I had to post this. The last 2 sports days have been wonderful if you dislike Boston teams which I do. The Bruins got eliminated on Friday night in hockey and the Celtics last night!! Just for good measure the Red Sox also lost yesterday, and my Cardinals beat the Dodgers for the 2nd time in a row. Doesn't get any better than this!!!!! Doesn't happen too often so I'll enjoy it while I can!
LOL. I live in New England so people will ask why I'm a Cardinals fan. Because they beat the Red Sox in the 1967 World Series. The kids in my class were so obnoxious rooting for the Sox I wanted to see them lose hence the Cardinals became my team! I became a Browns fan because they were on TV a lot back then playing the Cowboys, the Giants etc. and I liked guys like Leroy Kelly, Paul Warfield, Frank Ryan, Gary Collins, Walter Johnson, Jim Houston, Dale Lindsey heck I could go on and on. I love my Browns! Anybody born in the last 40 years or so has no idea the tradition the Browns have. They pretty much associate them with losing. That's basically true unfortunately.
My father got transferred to Harrisburg, Pa. when I was 3 and I lived there from age three to 12.
I played sports but really baseball was my game. My parents were Indians fans. Living there I really didn't know the Indians. I collected baseball cards and I loved the Milwaukee Braves because of their uniforms. Plus the only time I got to really watch baseball was "Home Run Derby." It was on Saturday mornings. I became a giant Hank Aaron fan because he never lost in HR Derby. My first baseball glove was a Warren Spahn. I collected all the Braves baseball cards.
We moved back to Cleveland In 1960. I delivered the Plain Dealer and would read the sports section every morning before I delivered my route. Read all week about how teams planned to stop Jim Brown. It never worked.
Later in life I moved to Atlanta got married had kids. I coached baseball for ten years.
Braves are my first team. Guardians my American League team.
Braves this year are crazy. Three key starters out till July. Lost the starting SS Kim fell on ice broke his hand. Lost the LF Profar for the season PED's second time. Profar was a signed free agent. Sean Murphy catcher is now coming back after surgery. Acuna now on the IL.
25-10 record best in MLB. Plus 81 run differential. Scored the most runs in MLB. 3rd in team era from rookie call ups and a waiver guy. Chris Sale 6-1. Elder normally a 4.00 era 5th starter now has a low 2 era. They have a 8.5 game lead and have not lost a series. Best 35 game start in team history.
It is totally nuts what they are doing. I was hoping to play .500 ball and stay in the race till July and then make run.
Crazy what the Braves are doing. Cavs advanced. Life is good.

Loved these 60s Browns players. Can I add Milt Morin for fun?
