There's no need in your being purposefully obtuse. I compared those two as being "In the grand scheme of things". And your entire premise is false. Here is my initial reply to hitt... I'm curious how many people are so sanctimonious that speeding tickets are high on their priority list? Or why at some point one of the best players in the league gets tired of losing? I did not target one part of his post as you accused. I addressed both of them. And then you go to the "coulda" part. You're still trying to use the argument of how what could have happened but didn't is important to your narrative. Have fun with your false narrative of how I "singled out one comment" that is factually a lie and keep rolling with it. And keep pretending that speeding is a felony like domestic violence and many of the felonies NFL players commit. Put them on the same level and act like it's the same thing. I'm sure there are a lot of women out there who would set you straight about that. But you probably wouldn't listen to actual victims of abuse either. At this point maybe you should invest in a watson jersey. I mean after all, he didn't speed going 100 MPH.

At this point maybe you should invest in a watson jersey. I mean after all, he didn't speed going 100 MPH. Because it MATTERS.. ignoring a problem until it is catastrophic is beyond neglect. He has had 9 such infractions in the last 8 years. He is on the razor's edge of beating the odds. His last one was just February of this year, he isn't maturing out of the issue that you would think the crash would wake him up from. You are a freaking idiot if you want to throw Desaun Watson into the conversation, you have officially acknowledged that you lost the argument by making such a claim. You say I think TOO much about outside issues, then say I should be a fan of someone that has a bigger issue than the one at hand. Please explain how your mind works?

So compared to watson, in the "grand scheme of things" Myles speeding isn't nearly as serious as many of the violations other players commit and his traffic tickets aren't as bad as violent felonies like many other players have committed? Because that's exactly what I've been saying all along. It seems as if you really haven't been paying attention.
It took me citing watson for you to understand this basic concept?

No, you just don't understand it's either/or. One can be true AND the other true also. You don't have to limit the field. There is nothing basic about it.

You really need to pick a side rather than skirting around the issue.
Either you think Myles speeding is on the same level and is as serious as domestic violence and other violent felonies committed by NFL players or you don't.
We have established that we both think it's wrong. We have established that neither one of us approve of his actions. For some reason however that isn't good enough for you.
I see violent felonies as far more serious infractions of the law. The guidelines the law has set in place sees it in that same light by not only the category of these offenses but the penalty associated with the offenses as well. Thus my "in the grand scheme of things" comment.
So you either categorize these violent felonies as more severe or you don't. Which is all I have done.
So which is it? Are they on similar levels or aren't they? This tap dancing routine you keep doing isn't cutting it. So yes, this is all pretty basic.

No one was ever comparing Myles Garrett to players with domestic violence, you started that. You had derogatory comments about posters having issues with Garret's lack of discipline behind the wheel, that's as far as it went. I merely explained why I agree they can take issue with it.

I'm so sorry that comprehension isn't your strong suit.

Obviously by your comment you have no mirrors at your residence. I mean if you wish to omit context as it unfolded throughout the thread that's your business. But don't be surprised when you get smacked in the face with it. That's a you problem. See, that's what context means. You're welcome. Even when you admitted you agree with me that in the grand scheme of things speeding is trivial compared to violent issues you still drone on. But dogs have been known to chase their own tail. I made it very clear all along that his speeding wasn't nearly as bad as many more severe issues with discipline in the league. After droning on and trying to argue that for days by sidestepping it, you finally manned up and admitted that was true. Yet still, after all that here you are.

After droning on and trying to argue that for days by sidestepping it, you finally manned up and admitted that was true. Yet still, after all that here you are. Context IS everything, you omit in every single post you follow up on. The context isn't speeding, it's EXCESSIVE speeding. If he had 5 tickets in 12 months, all under 10 MPH over the posted limit, no one would bring it up. No one in this thread, including me, has argued speeding is worse than other issues, that was you comparing it to other issues. THEN we/I tried to explain "THE CONTEXT" in which Myles Garrett's "speeding" lands... you either can't comprehend or ignore that part and move on to some irrelevant new piece to change your argument. The "droning on" is in response to you.. I am not writing several trivial posts one after the other, which is what "droning on" means. A response isn't in the category of droning on. I get it, you want the last word, but when that last word is nonsense, it deserves a response. When I'm bored... I respond, because it's just too damn easy.

I didn't say it wasn't an issue. Pay closer attention next time.
I think it pales in comparison to far more serious issues. So you either categorize these violent felonies as more severe or you don't. Which is all I have done.

I see you haven't improved in the comprehension area. You admitted that the issue you keep harping about isn't nearly as serious and yet you keep harping. That is what makes this "just too damn easy". Maybe the issue is that you're having trouble looking at your own responses?

Aw.... Poor arch and his typical tantrum. You never post about anything except when it's an attack on me. Seek help. I see it appears you think speeding is as bad as domestic violence and other violent felonies too. At least that's the side you're taking here. Grow up arch. Maybe start posting about the Browns or something.
