so Big Z is either not signing here and using us for leverage, or using the early report as a way to leverage for more here now

"First down inside the 10. A score here will put us in the Super Bowl. Jeudy is far to the left as Njoku settles into the slot. Tillman is flanked out wide to the right. Judkins and Ford are split in the backfield as Flacco takes the snap ... Here we go."

We wanted to sign him before we had Clowney in, BUT he would not budge on his terms at that time.

Just wait and see. If he still has the gas and we get it done, great.

It'll be interesting to see if he signs here or finds his terms elsewhere

It's gonna take some time to get used to it being built below the ground like that. I can't think of any NFL stadiums that are currently like that

SoFi in LA is the same deal. Pretty sure it's about 100ft below grade... also to comply with FAA regulations.

Edit: just found this, it's a very cool time-lapse showing construction...

It looks great. I doubt I will still hold season tickets at that point, but with health cooperating am sure I will find my way inside a few times a season.

I wouldn't want Clowney back. I kind of like Smith the first time he was here, but there's a reason he was able to be traded to Detroit.

Browns is the Browns

... there goes Joe Thomas, the best there ever was in this game.

never heard of him, but we clearly want edge help/depth badly

Most of the guys we might sign at this point in camp would be guys we never hear of. To be honest I would rather it be that way. At least the guy brings some potential upside. Guys we might have heard from are usually washed up or washed out guys.

Once camp cuts happen I have a feeling we will be more active than usual in trying to sign some players or make claims off other practice squads. The bottom of the roster might be pretty fluid 1-2 weeks in to the season.

You're right Peen. There is always a lot of churning at the bottom of the roster this time of year. That's as it should be. They should always be looking to upgrade the roster from the top all the way to the bottom. That's another important part of the job description for all NFL FO's.

Intoducing for The Cleveland Browns, Quarterback Deshawn "The Predator" Watson. He will also be the one to choose your next head coach.

Never watched him and I don't place the name. I don't care who wins games for us. Anybody who has seen the guy's game, give us some insights. Our D was not tough enough .on the Bears. Big uglies gotta show up.

We will sign a TE maybe two off waivers.

Hell there were years when the waiver wire ended up like what seemed to be half the team.

That year Cody Kessler was the starter. My thoughts were that it can't be worse than this.

Looking back Haslam had no idea about how to run an NFL team.

I wonder if he has been humbled? He must look back and think " I made some critical errors."

Makes me wonder what has he learned?

The 27 decision on a quarterback is about as big as it gets. Berry's job is riding on it. The entire organization knows the importance.

I would bet that Haslam wants Arch. He will believe in the Manning name right or wrong.

Seems to have some juice. A decent chunk of the highlights seem to come unblocked, though, so I'm not sure how much opponents worried about him. We'll see. Looks like he converted from QB to ILB to Edge, so may have some untapped potential still.
