Intoducing for The Cleveland Browns, Quarterback Deshawn "The Predator" Watson. He will also be the one to choose your next head coach.

My wife looked to the sky as if she were praying. And I know it wasn't for the Browns. 🤣

Actually, the game last night was a like the best HOF game I can remember lol
"First down inside the 10. A score here will put us in the Super Bowl. Jeudy is far to the left as Njoku settles into the slot. Tillman is flanked out wide to the right. Judkins and Ford are split in the backfield as Flacco takes the snap ... Here we go."

I totally agree with Greg Cosell.
I have seen Beck play and never felt he would amount to much in the NFL.
He was a good college quarterback. That does not automatically make him a good QB in the NFL.

Far more often than not you are totally correct. There should certainly be no determination based on what we saw in the HOF game. The only thing I took away from it was he did seem comfortable and knew the route trees and system pretty well. He did deliver the ball on time and mentally seemed in control. He seemed accurate. That's not nearly all there is to being an NFL QB but it's a start.

I disagree. But mostly with term "zero".
He displayed a bunch of stuff that a QB must have in the tool belt in order to be effective in the NFL. Does that mean he will? Nope. Is there a huge difference between that setting and an NFL game? Of course.
I'm not sure how a rookie QB going out an executing at near *perfection* can somehow be turned into a negative, but Cosell seems to have done a great job of turning it into one. 🤣 But I definitely understand... he's well respected for breaking down all the things Beck wasn't expected to do in a "vanilla" game, so it's perfectly acceptable for him to temper expectations.
Beck showed great awareness, great poise, threw from the pocket, threw on the run, threw short, threw deep, threw with velocity, threw with touch. Not really sure what else a rookie should or could go out and do in his first outing.

https://www.youtube.com/shorts/BiqK5wBZ7QMNot sure if this was seen and discussed? Joey Porter seems to be admitting Big Ben was a sexual abuser. . . share with all the Steeler fans you know.
The Party told you to reject the evidence of your eyes and ears. It was their final, most essential command.

I’m not sure he was even dismissive of it in terms of he will never be able to do it in an NFL game, I took it more as this game had very few elements of a real NFL game where there will be shifts, coverage disguising, full temper rushing with guys that belong on the league, etc. the HOF game wasn’t just vanilla, it was a hyped practice with a 1/4 of the playbook being ran by 3rd stringers and guys that won’t make a roster.

Wyatt Teller's demotion
The fact that Teller was playing with the second-team offense is telling. The Texans apparently haven't been happy with his play throughout training camp. He was first moved to the second team during the team's joint practice with the Raiders.
And Rutledge has since replaced him at left guard.
Teller losing his spot permanently wouldn't be ideal. The Texans signed him to a two-year, $16 million contract with the expectation that he would start. He has been a starter throughout his career but struggled in his final season with Cleveland. https://sports.yahoo.com/articles/c-j-strouds-debut-wyatt-043924660.html
At DT, context and meaning are a scarecrow kicking at moving goalposts.

He didn’t do too well with us last season. Right now it looks like a good move that we let him walk.

By the way Fernando Mendoza had a terrible game last night. A fifth round pick on our team looked better than him and we know where he was picked. One game doesn’t make him a bust does it? LOL 😂

Teller was not good for us for the past 2 seasons and was a bad signing by Houston. If he plays major snaps they're in trouble on the OL
