I've seen you post this a couple of times now. It's pretty disrespectful - but that's fine. But knowing you are a Baker fan, it's worth noting that Gabriel is a shade over 5'11, in bare feet measured at the combine. Baker is not quite 6'1 ...
5’9” or 5’11”. Short or too short — same sh*t, and it doesn’t change anything.
I have absolutely nothing against Dillon Gabriel. He seems like a nice young man from Hawaii with the right attitude. There’s nothing to dislike about him.
It’s not his fault that incompetent leadership put him in an impossible position.
He simply doesn’t have the physical attributes, the size, or the talent to be a starting NFL quarterback. There’s nothing wrong with that — only a very small percentage of players ever make it as NFL starters. With a bit of luck, he can carve out a career as a No. 2 or No. 3 quarterback and make a few million dollars before he retires.
I wish him all the best, but if he’s going to succeed, I think he needs to find a more stable organization with less drama.
As for being called a Baker fan, I take that as a compliment. I love his attitude, his positive mindset, and his willingness to do whatever it takes to win.
