I would be interested in hearing what everyone saw from him this preseason.
What I saw: I only saw a half dozen pass blocking plays and zero run blocking.
To me Fano looked great against speed rushers Great feet.
I worry about him against the power rush. Seemed to get pushed back quite a bit.
Again I haven't seen much Your thoughts?

I haven't see enough of him on the field to yet form an opinion. It's hard for me to know just how well one preforms in battle until I see them in a firefight.
Intoducing for The Cleveland Browns, Quarterback Deshawn "The Predator" Watson. He will also be the one to choose your next head coach.

I haven't bothered to see much. Seemed better at holding his ow pass blocking. This young front all needs schooled as far as run blocking, which may be stronger 9f they muscle up more for our backs. He didn't collect piles of flags. I think good feet will help. I like both Fanos. Pull for the fatties to find their way!

I haven't seen much of the pre-season games so I can't really comment on Fano's play but our offense will probably struggle to run the ball this season as very few of our OL candidates are strong run blockers, this is from PFF, RT Howard had a 49.6 run block grade and was ranked #71 out of #79 for OT, LG Johnson had 52.8 run block grade and was #61 out of #75 for OG, and E.Jenkins had a grade of 60.6 and was #29 out of #39 for OC add in the fact that teams will probably stack the box against us since we don't really have QB.

I think the screen game is gonna do a decent bit of work for us as some pseudo run game. Had some interesting misdirection stuff going on on the OL which has me intrigued.

Need some work over in the screen game. OL really needs to shape in or ship out asap before week 1.

I think Fano will be good. All reports seem to be positive. It still takes money to buy whisky, so we will need to see it over the next few years. As for his brother, he's just a guy. We will probably keep him on the practice squad this year where maybe he can show to be a little bit better than just a guy.

It feels like the early reports of him are more positive than they were for Wills, for whatever that's worth. I'm not a good evaluator of talent outside of the obvious, but the good news is he never really stood out to me as stinking lol
"First down inside the 10. A score here will put us in the Super Bowl. Jeudy is far to the left as Njoku settles into the slot. Tillman is flanked out wide to the right. Judkins and Ford are split in the backfield as Flacco takes the snap ... Here we go."

I agree that screens could be reliable friends for Browns. Thinking back to Landry;s genius with the Cowgirls; he could throw screens at you, R,L, or M, sometimes doubled on a play. We have young feet, quicker feet than last year. RPO can easily accommodate screens IMO. Fano could be effective. Our offense, including screens, was an anemic thing last year. Hope to see some devastation outside.
