Great game, with Jose gettin going, I truly believe we can win the world series this year!
I can watch game 1 of the ALCS, then off to Thailand. What a time to go huh? Should be fine for World Series if the Guards make it there.

So happy for you! The crowd was amazing, gave me chills at times. There is nothing like being there to enjoy it in person!
And yes. Commission the statue now. You know you're building it, just pull the curtain the day he retires. He deserves nothing less.

The Guardians and the giants.
The Rays won 98 games in the regular season. The Dodgers won 100 games. The Brewers won 103 games.
The Guardians won 85 games.
Who cares now? The Guardians are in the ALCS and they are on a mission.
Fresh and clean after winning three straight and moving on up.
Time to take out the trash.
Go Guardians GO.

You win what it takes. Extra wins don't garner bonus points. Now it is about 4 wins. Win 4, then win 4 more. Inning by inning, game by game.

game 1 tonight - a split in Tampa would be excellent
"First down inside the 10. A score here will put us in the Super Bowl. Boston is far to the left as KC settles into the slot. Fannin is flanked out wide to the right. Judkins and Sampson are split in the backfield as the ball is hiked ... Here we go."

Especially, with Foster Griffin going tonight and then having to decide if they're going back to Messick on Tuesday or a bullpen game to give Messick additional days rest after pitching on short rest as a rookie in the ALDS.

facing Rasmussen in TB is a really tall task too. Game 1 is a challenge

Guards take game 1, 7-3. Tampa Bay's 1st post-season loss. Go Guardians!

Chase is going to be a real superstar. Jose has to love having him hitting behind him.

Ramirez was toying with that pitcher. That whole trip around the bases was hilarious. Numerous throws from the catcher and pitcher, then he just keeps dancing every time the pitcher looks back. So much fun to watch a player that just goes out every day and has sooo much fun.

Eight o'clock starts are rough for me.
I hit a wall around 9:45. I nodded off and then woke up in the ninth.
Saw Jose drive in the 5th run. Then he steals second. Then goes for third on a hit and run and they score two more.
You can tell when Jose wants to take over.
Great win for the team. I was hoping for a split in Tampa. Now I want both games.
Super excited about this.

I understand the late starts. I went to be after the 2nd inning. Woke up at 2:30, checked my phone then got up to watch the highlights on youtube, and a few other things. Back in bed around 4.
As for the wins part, I want them all. I want their children. OK, maybe not that.

I admit to getting a little “welp, they’re starting up the buzzsaw early” in the 1st inning. I read that Paul Hoynes thing about how the guardians might just not be built for October in their current configuration after the 2nd loss against Chicago. I thought maybe it was that, our bats just can’t keep up with the top teams dependably.
Gotta say, this isn’t the most boisterous group, they’re not the cast of characters of guardians/ Indians past, they’re very workman like. Still, when they’re on, they’re as efficient and cut throat as anyone in the league. They don’t seem to get their feathers ruffled much. They just have to find a way to keep hitting and getting on base. Which seems to always start with Ramirez.
Was toggling back and forth between MNF and boy, what a game that was. That was an entertaining night of sports couching if there ever was one. I love seeing the Rams lose these days.
