hoping the injury isn't as serious as first thought. That would be a break
"First down inside the 10. A score here will put us in the Super Bowl. Boston is far to the left as KC settles into the slot. Fannin is flanked out wide to the right. Judkins and Sampson are split in the backfield as the ball is hiked ... Here we go."
Browns quarterback Shedeur Sanders has hired an agent, ESPN’s Adam Schefter reports.
Sanders has signed with Adie von Gontard, CEO of Young Money APAA Sports, to represent him. Sanders previously did not have an agent, going through the NFL Draft and the first part of his career self-represented.
Sanders’ former Colorado teammate, Jacksonville’s Travis Hunter, also signed with the same agency.
This change for Sanders calls to mind now-Texans receiver Marvin Harrison Jr., who also had been self-represented until recently. Harrison hiring an agent helped facilitate a trade from Arizona to Houston.
While the Browns have not shown an interest in moving Sanders — with recent reports noting the team would like to keep and continue developing him — Sanders hiring an agent now could streamline the process for any potential transaction down the line.
The Browns announced RB Dylan Sampson has been designated for return and is eligible to return to practice. Sampson was originally placed on injured reserve on Sept. 15 after he sustained a knee injury in the season opener against the Jaguars on Sept. 13.
Sampson, a fourth-round pick in 2025, has appeared in 16 career games. He has recorded 175 career rushing yards on 65 attempts, while adding 33 receptions for 271 yards with two touchdowns.
Browns versus Ravens: Former Tennessee running back out
According to Friday's NFL injury report, Cleveland running back Dylan Sampson (knee) is listed as out against the Ravens. The former Vol was listed as limited participation for Thursday and Friday's practices. He did not participate in Wednesday's practice.
No way in hell did I believe that was possible before the season began.
Which 6 games are you thinking?
I'm not saying we can't - I'd just be surprised unless we get some significantly better play at QB .... Titans and Colts. Yes. Saints. Maybe. I'm not seeing a strong chance to beat any other teams on the schedule without being better and also staying healthy.
The Party told you to reject the evidence of your eyes and ears. It was their final, most essential command.
Jerry Jeudy is an important vet for at least the WR room. We need to keep Jerry Jeudy.
I also always wondered if he's one of those guys that can look unstoppable as a #2 WR, but kinda falls apart when he's the focus of the opposing secondary.
I think having a veteran on every unit where the core of that unit is young is quite valuable. Jeudy fills that role nicely. The WR unit needs to maintain that veteran presence.
Intoducing for The Cleveland Browns, Quarterback Deshawn "The Predator" Watson. He will also be the one to choose your next head coach.
