The political action committee which has paid nearly $2 million to boost a socialist candidate for U.S. Senate in Ohio is bankrolled by a Republican-linked group, Federal Election Commission filings confirm.
Enough Promises Ohio, a brand-new super PAC which has now spent $1,978,398.62 on mailers supporting Greg Levy and opposing Democratic former Sen. Sherrod Brown, submitted its pre-general election report to the FEC on Thursday.
The report shows Enough Promises Ohio has been funded entirely by a $2.5 million donation from Conservative Americans PAC, whose address is listed at the offices of Bulldog Compliance. According to its website, Bulldog Compliance is a subdivision of Red Curve Solutions, an FEC compliance and accounting firm.
Conservative Americans PAC’s disbursement reports with the FEC show a history of donations to conservative groups, including the Senate Leadership Fund.
The new filings confirm 21 News’ earlier reporting which connected Enough Promises Ohio to the GOP. The super PAC has been paying an entity called Seven Farms for the mailers, and Seven Farms shares the same address as Whistlestop Strategies, LLC. The latter is operated by the major Republican strategy firm Big Dog Strategies.

(Oct. 13) Mailers promoting socialist U.S. Senate candidate Greg Levy are being supported by a GOP-linked group. Ally Ross has more details on these mailers and the group behind the support.
Brown is facing off in a hotly contested race against sitting Republican Sen. Jon Husted. The contest is considered one of the most important Senate races in the 2026 midterms as Republicans seek to maintain control of Congress under President Donald Trump.
Dave Cohen, director of the applied politics program at The University of Akron, previously told 21 News the strategy of Republicans propping up an independent socialist candidate is twofold.
“One, that people who are very left-leaning will peel off and instead of voting for Sherrod Brown, vote for Levy,” Cohen said. “But also, it's being done to scare more mainstream voters, and to try to make the argument that the Democratic Party is becoming more socialist or communist, and you don't want to vote for them.”
21 News has reached out to Levy’s campaign for comment. In a previous statement, Levy condemned the mailers as “dirty tricks and racist impersonation.”
“This racist caricaturing of our candidate, a form of digital blackface, is a cheap, cowardly attack that is meant to demean the communities we represent and scare voters away from policies that put the needs of working families ahead of corporate profits,” Levy said in a post on X. “The Greg Levy for Senate campaign is considering taking legal action against the operatives behind this crude impersonation.”
This is not a new strategy for Conservative Americans PAC. POLITICO reported in June how the group meddled in multiple Democratic congressional primary races in Texas, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Nebraska and Maine.
21 News has also reached out to Enough Promises Ohio and Conservative Americans PAC for comment at the email addresses listed on their FEC Statements of Organization. Neither has responded as of the time of publication.
