I've noticed some of you post youtube videos in threads directly without having the reader go to the site and watch it from there.I was trying to send a youtube video like that through an e-mail yesterday with no success. I know how to send the link and to use the site for sending but it would be nicer to be able to skip all that.
Can some of you reveal the secrets behind doing this,if any.
You need to take the address from the properties, which can't be done while watching the video. What I do is find the video on youtube, right click on the image of the video (step prior to viewing) go to properties, right click on the address, sleect, select all, then selcect copy, then paste that link to the youtube code setup for this page.
Whn you go to start a new post, there will be all of the One-Click Instant UBB Code links... click the one for YouTube. It will give you a pop-up in your browser. Paste the URL into that pop-up and click Ok... it does the rest for you.
Chicken Cattciatore
Browns is the Browns
... there goes Joe Thomas, the best there ever was in this game.
whats up with what? the chicken cattciatore vid? it was the first one I saw on youtube.
for sending embedded in an email, you *might* be able to filgure out how to work it if the email is an HTML email and you use the embed code... but even then, it probably wouldn't be trivial.

You can't, because email programs don't read all HTML code. Now maybe internet based email might work (ie: hotmail, gmail, etc.) But things like Outlook Express don't.
We don't have to agree with each other, to respect each others opinion.
Quote: Yo Calzone...or download Miro for free and copy all the YouTube videos you want...send/burn/watch after.
Thanks, I tried Miro and played with it for a while.I still couldn't get it to do what I wanted(could've just been me) so I endeded up downloading video piggy and it does exactly what I want and it's incredibly easy to use.
