Thanks for the compliment but on the contrary, my hair was not healthy. It was actually pretty fried from coloring, heat styling, etc. I kept it up in a bun 90% of the time because it took too long to dry and style. I wanted something easy, trendy and more appropriate for my age and my job, not for soccer My boys are football players.

When I seen you at Taggart's you looked pretty good Nurse...your hair is good....the important thing is your husband is happy!
A few years back I cut off 13 inches! It was tramatic, but I wouldn't go back. Blow drying takes a full five minutes vs. 45. I think it looks great on you.

but just out of curiosity....if you were coloring it dark what is your natural hair color?
It's a shame you cut it short but it's just me! My wife has insinuated a couple times that she wants to cut it short and ugggggghhhhh. I hope she doesn't go through with it for convenience sake.
Well, having seen her in person, I like it shorter. Now, will you please just let people do what they like with their hair and be nice about it? Sheesh.
I have to color my hair every 6 weeks to hide the gray. Naturally, It's very dark brown, almost black. I usually get a few highlights in the summer the brighten my face up a bit and that's a bleaching process which is the most damaging. I tried to do it myself this time to save some cash and I looked like a bengal tiger, not good. After all the color changes of getting it back where it needed to be color wise, my hair was destroyed. Not to mention, I just got tired of the same ole look and went for something totally different.
A couple of the guys at work also liked it better long. Must be a dude thing, although my husband loves it this way. I like it too, for now. If I get bored with it again, it's only hair and it will grow back.
There is something with some guys and long hair. They even go ga ga over the Cousin It look. It makes no sense to me but to each his own. I just hope the women who wear it that awy are doing it because they like it and not to please someone else But again whatever floats yer boat.
