In the 1980s one of the Elfman bros. produced the score to the movie "Forbidden Zone". The Mystic Knights of Oingo Boingo performed the music and also had parts in this crazy film.

If you never saw this crazy movie invest 2 hours after enjoying a few adult beverages and prepare to see the 80 year old Cub Scout son of the father in this movie.

#1 ever for me, the mighty GYMKATA. I'm serious, people, if you want a "so-bad-it's-good" action flick, find this movie.

Killer Klowns from Outer Space, Evil Dead II, Eraserhead, there's actually too many to name right now. I'll be back.

I really do think he meant to say Flash, but I have been wrong before. My fav is Boondock Saints and Fight Club.

Near Dark - Southern vampires roam the countryside. Stars Lance Henrickson, Bill Paxson, and the "dirty girl" from The Wall. It has some great one-liners.

Maybe that's more a D-movie than a cult movie

When I think of cult movies, the very first one that comes to mind is Rocky Horror Picture Show.

Holy Cow! I was just trying to remember the name to that flick like 2 weeks ago... Gymkata Rocks!

Evil Dead II is a fine choice as well. You can't have it without Army of Darkness though... hell, ya gotta include the whole trilogy

Killer Klowns... lol, gotta put "Earth Girls are Easy" in there with that one

I have to add "Student Bodies".
It is THE Original horror spoof film. In 1981 it did what Scary Movie and the likes pretended to do.

Breakfast Club & Heathers... both are classics, nice choices
How about "Pump Up the Volume"?

Man, I could go on and on.... The Warriors, Turk-182, the penultimate - The Rocky Horror Picture Show, Rock-n-Roll High School, This is Spinal Tap, Repo-Man, Blade Runner, and of course A Clockwork Orange, Blues Brothers and Pink Floyd - The Wall.

Browns is the Browns

He might have meant Flesh. I know for a fact that there was a soft core porn spoof called Flesh Gordon. My father in law just might have it at the end of a VHS tape marked Die Hard.

This reminds me that the 80s Flash Gordon flick is one of my other favorite so-bad-it's-good movies.

Here are some more. The Warriors (come out and playYAY), Better off Dead, Blue Velvet, Texas Chainsaw Massacre (original), Repo Man, etc....

There's still tons more to be mentioned.

I saw Boondock Saints a while back when my daughter rented it. It's probably one of the most disturbing movies I've seen in my life. And terribly violent...there were a lot of scenes I just could not bear to watch.

I'm not saying that makes it a bad movie or anything....just that it was way too intense for me.

Blade Runner

Blade Runner: The Final Cut, is showing this weekend only at the Drexel Gateway in Columbus. I'm getting my ticket today.

If you can't see it in theaters, it just came out on DVD. This is my #1 rated Sci-Fi movie. Yes, above StarWars and 2001.

Is that a cult film?

A Cult film is usually a film that went straight to DVD or didn't do well in the theater, but has a good following after the fact.

A Film that is 10 or more years old, but you remember the first time you watched it like it was yesterday.

A Film you watched or watch over and over again and never grow tired of it.
