I would like everyone to please pray for my Aunt Lucille. I found my biological family 4 years ago and she's one of my mom's sisters. She has been diagnosed with Terminal Leukemia. They are trying an experimental drug on her and if it doesn't work they will have to do chemo. The doctors said she has 3-9 months. Please pray for her.

You got mine....My father passed away from Leukemia several years ago; there wasn't much they could do at the time. He went through chemotherapy and it was pretty painful.

I'm truely sorry to hear this. I lost the second most important person in my life to Terminal Leukemia last year.My grandma. They said the same thing about the experimental drug and the kemo. she was diagnosed in november and passed in febuary. It was one the hardest things to deal with. My heart goes out your family . Thank you everyone. I really appreciate your thoughts and prayers. It won't be easy because of just finding them and getting them back in my life after not being with them for 38 years. Mom said that Aunt Lucille is handling it fairly well and isn't in denial with it so that's gonna help some. I am hoping that she doesn't suffer like my cousin Mary did years ago. I am praying that the Good Man takes her gently in the night and keeps her by His side.

Once again, Thank You everyone. It's not gonna be easy but with friends like ya'll I know that I will make it through this mentally. My mom's buggin cuz we all thought that it would be Aunt Theresa who we would lose first. (she has too many healthy issues to even begin to list) Aunt Lucille is married to a diehard Browns fan and if she can put up with that for all these years I know she's a strong woman. Told mom last night while I was talking to her that I was posting this thread. Power of prayer is awesome. <img src="/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />
