I as many on here know that I suffer from many mental conditions. The most troubling is the fact that I am bipolar. Last year near this time i was hospitalized because of it. I was in a deep depression and was suicidal. I underwent 10 ECT treatments. I can honestly say they worked very well. I have been relatively stable over the past year. I still have manic and depression stages but they have not been as severe.

I suppose it has been that way for a long time.....but troubling indeed.
We have become a society of tabloid readers and entertainment/gossip show watchers.
I suppose we are no different on here...we(all of us) seek out every tidbit of info we can find on the Browns....doesn't matter if it is real or not.:shrug:

They had compassion for the genuinely afflicted and distrust for the wealthy..... nothing has really changed except the volume and reach of the information we recieve... human nature remains what it has been for a long time...

Not to nitpick; but this isn't entirely true. The use of many psychactives has been known to precipitate or exacerbate latent or existing mental disorders.
So if Brit has been using drugs, then it is quite possible that it has accentuated latent disorders.
Not saying that that is the case........but it could be a possibility.
Try reading the entire thread and pay a little closer attention.

That wasn't the point I was trying to make.
Excusing bad behavior because it has been done a long time is an excuse. My point is that it is sad that society almost takes delight in the suffering and misery of others.
I don't care if it started yesterday or thousands of years ago. It's still wrong.
