This guy would be great with this "D" The Cardinals fully anticipate letting OLB Calvin Pace hit the free agent market. GM Rod Graves called re-signing Pace a priority back in January, but the Cardinals can't afford to franchise Karlos Dansby and lock up both Pace and Larry Fitzgerald with lucrative contracts. A 2003 first-round pick once thought to be a bust, Pace set career highs for tackles (97) and sacks (6) in 2007. Its FA, I doubt anyone is going to come at a decent price
The only reason people get lost in thought is because it's unfamiliar territory.

Didn't the Cardinals line him up at DE his first couple of years?

I hope this isn't just a guy that kicked ass in his contract year and will settle back into mediocrity once he gets his $$.
I don't follow the Cardinals at all, but just from this little article "thought to be a bust" and "big season, now a FA" kinda scares me a lil.

I was thinking the same exact thing.

Yeah, he was drafted in the 1st Round, around pick 17?, as a DE. He has underperformed until last year when he was moved to OLB in the 3-4.

I want Dansby. He's good enough to start ILB in my book. I don't know anything about this Pace guy

Be very cautious with Pace. Arizona played in a an ultra blitz happy defense that was frequently playing from behind. Getting six sacks in a season isn't a huge feat. He's exactly like Bryan Thomas was last year.
Now Dansby? Get him. He's could be a beast at the buc.
