Anybody watchin? I just turned it on and they had a wide shot of the area and there were hundreds of Gazelle (or whatever they are) all over the place.

Still a few around but not near as many as there was. They were stretched out from that road in the back ground all the way out past the watering hole when i saw it. There had to have been a couple of hundred of 'em.

Nkohro or Elephant Plains? Not much at Nk right now. They say there was a large herd of femal Kudus at Ep a while ago.

Nkohro, looks like there gone now though, just as i typed that last post the camera zoomed away from the ones still left at that back road and focused on the pond.

They were Gazelle i believe. Not sure how many total must have past by but when i saw it they were stretched from that back road that leads out of the lodge to all the way back passed the pond and all headed towards that back road stopping to grab a few nibbles here and there.

Thats what i thought it was too. At times it sounds like its gettin close but then it fades away. Plus i've been hearing it since i went on the site, which would be about 40 minutes now.

Interesting... I didn't see any animals but I did see the often elusive "African headlights" moving down the left side and come up around the back of the camera. Only in Africa could you see wild headlights in their native environment.

At first it was hard to say as I wasn't looking for such an exotic beast but I was lucky enough to see more, must be a herd in the area. I'm fairly certain now it was the more common Halogen.
