With all the excitement regarding the blockbuster trade, pulled off by the Cavaliers front office.....i figured i'd just throw this out and have some fun w/it. Knowing that we don't have all our horses for tonites game against the Wizards..... What will LeBron's stat line look like tonite? I will say, LBJ will have his "first" 50 point game "at home"....... 53 points-6 dimes-and 11 rebounds I can't wait to get to the game, i think it will be something crazy and special all in one....... Have fun w/this my fellow Dawgs and Cavs fans

It just depends on whether the team is chalking this one up as a loss or not before they start.
Thankfully, we are playing the Wizards who themselves are without Arenas, Butler, and Stevenson (all starters). So, we need to shut down Jamison...they need to shut down James (guess which one is easier to do)
And I think the Cavs might surprise the Wiz by going out running early...and getting the DLeaguers into it.
I'm thinking more like 35 / 12 / 12

lebron will go 43 of 87 for a 105-103 victory
he will not record one assist because he'll have taken every shot in this game
also, 12 boards, and 6 steals

True. It's boring and frustrating, but sometimes they just chalk up the L and sit LeBron for a good chunk of the game.

Basically said it wasn't what he wanted (wanted Kidd or Bibby), was thankful, but didn't know how much of an impact it would have.

I think it's Bobby Thomas ... but we might have to keep him on the roster if he can keep that up.

I think you're right on Bobby, but I could've sworn they said Devin. Mike Brown probably doesn't even know their names...

Dickens is from Idaho ... played when I went to school there. Nice block from him ... the D-leaguers are at least making less mistakes than Jones and Snow. *facepalm*

I agree ... he's hit some guys on some sweet passes, and they've either bobbled it or missed the shot.
Can't believe we're actually winning at the half. That was a pretty nasty spill from Daniels right at the end there.

Thumbs up: LeBron James gives stamp of approval on Cavaliers deals CLEVELAND (AP)—As he waited for Big Ben, Wally and the rest of the reconfigured Cavaliers to arrive, LeBron James welcomed two new teammates on Friday. They got here just in time. With only six healthy players able to suit up, the Cavaliers, who traded six others away in a three-team blockbuster before the deadline, signed Kaniel Dickens and Billy Thomas from the NBA’s Developmental League on Friday so they’d have enough players to face the Washington Wizards. “I’ve never been in a situation where we called guys up just to be able to play a game,” Cavs guard Eric Snow said after the morning shootaround. “It’s the NBA, I can’t say I’m surprised.” Dickens was stunned when he got the call while eating lunch in Denver. “I dropped my fork and my knife, ran out on my bill went home packed some things and made it to the airport,” he said, joking about the bill. “It just happened so fast.” So did Cleveland’s trade, which included 11 players, gutted half the Cavs’ roster and brought Ben Wallace, Wally Szczerbiak in from Chicago and Joe Smith and Delonte West from Seattle. James has not yet commented on the megadeal, which Cavs GM Danny Ferry said was necessary to give his team a shot at an NBA title. It was strange watching the Cavs exit the practice floor without any sign of Larry Hughes, Drew Gooden, Donyell Marshall, Ira Newble, Shannon Brown or Cedric Simmons. “I was sad to see those guys go,” center Zydrunas Ilgauskas said. “We’ll have to see how it all works out.” The four newest Cavaliers must pass physicals before they can play. And even if they’re cleared, they won’t make their Cleveland debut until Sunday against the Memphis Grizzlies. In the mean time, coach Mike Brown has to make due with what he’s got. Fortunately, he’s got James. “We do have LeBron,” he said. “So that does help out.” Browns understands it may take time for his revamped team to mesh. But except for West, he’s getting experienced players who won’t need to have their hands held as they learn a new system. “These guys have been around the block,” he said. “They are smart guys and that will make it easier.” It’s a little different for Dickens and Thomas, who both have NBA experience but have logged most their most playing minutes on floors in places like Fayatteville, Mobile, Asheville and Roanoke. Both were playing for the Colorado 14ers when they got the call to quickly get to Northeast Ohio. For Dickens, who was averaging 20.4 points, the Cavaliers are just the latest stop on a globe-trotting basketball odyssey. This is the fourth time he’s been called up, but his first on a 10-day contract. He’s gotten used to being the new guy. “I’m used to learning very fast and making adjustments and trying to acclimate to my surroundings, ASAP,” he said. “That’s part of my job. I take that serious and I take pride in being able to do that.” One thing he hasn’t done before is play with a superstar like James. “From what I hear, he’s going to make it very easy for me,” Dickens said. “I just hope I don’t get caught up in watching him play. I haven’t been on the court with him. I’m looking forward to that. He’s going to get a lot of attention and nobody knows who I am, so the onus on me is to knock down shots.” Dickens played at three colleges, spending his junior and senior years at the University of Idaho. He was drafted by Utah in the second round in the 2000 draft. Since then, he’s played in Russia, China, Spain and at countless points between. Has he ever counted up all his teams? “No,” he said. “I’ve tried and every time I fall asleep before I finish.”

Wow! Great scrappy effort from the guys! Damon Jones was looking like Daniel Gibson tonight. Lebron would of likely had the triple double, but his teammates weren't hitting the easy shots he gave them in some cases.

Really good win for the Cavaliers tonight.
This could have been a "we have no chance being this shorthanded, so let's rest Lebron, and let the guys on 10 day contracts play 30" kinda night ..... but instead the team came out and simply refused to lose tonight.

after the trade, the only thing I thought about was the "fans" that boo'd LBJ boo YOU BOOing fans. you are never bigger than ctown sports. back on subject LBJ missed a triple double for the 3rd consecutive game. To become the 12th player in NBA history to do it. Ill take it for a W nicely done Cavaliers. He said he would light up Ctown like vegas. The Pride of Akron.

they're the same idiots that said lebron was a disgrace to the city of cleveland when he donned a yankee hat...

the yankee hat is a different story, cleveland has deep roots to its baseball. the ones that discredit lbj for that are not credible in the conversation.
light it up like vegas, any WALLY (miami) fans in the house?

of course, cleveland loves their baseball, i love the indians, we all do
but to each his own man...
one of my best buds is a homegrown cleveland kid, but he's a die hard orioles fan, and although i constantly give him crap about it, i respect his choice...
i don't care who lebron roots for, it's a non-issue in my opinion...
what's important, is what he does with the cavs... and what he's doing for this city... people take him for granted... they don't realize how good we have it right now, to be able to watch an athlete this good, he's jim brown in a basketball uniform...
and things could get more exciting with some of these new acquisitions...
i just find it funny though, that these people would say that they'll never watch the cavs again because of a yankee hat, when in reality, they're talking out their rear ends...
each and every one of those folks will be cavs crazy come april, may, and june... guaranteed
i mean, honestly, who cares?
