Heres a few pictures I took of my parking lot and my wifes car
I live over on the west side near the airport and we have been pretty much snowed in all day. My wife thought ahead and stopped at the grocery store lasr night so we didnt have to leave the house today. I am not looking forward to tomorrow when I have to go outside and dig my Jeep out of the driveway. Me and my son were going to go to the Gladiators game on Sunday but I doubt it now. I have DTV also and have had zero problems with it.

Hey 62 how are you guys holding up...? We had no reason to go anywhere today as we seen this coming and we were ready Thursday for this. Firewood in the garage beer in fridge lots of pop and plenty of food. Also my wife got all the candles out. I told her i'll get all our kerosene lamps and were ready for what ever. It's nice to have 2 fireplaces that would heat the whole house if had to.

Oh boy - now I wish I had gone to the gorcery store yesterday. The drift in my driveway is easily waist high! I noticed even at the Cavs game today there were way more empty seats than usual. The City of Willowick channel is great for info. I guess mail delivery was suspended for the day at noon and they said if any residents have an emergency a snow plow will accompany the fire/rescue crews to make sure they can get through. I talked to my mom who lives in Vegas - sunny and 74 degrees.  Everyone stay safe & warm!

It's snowing like hell down here today. Didn't last night but it was very icy.
Ol' Ammo and friends have the slip and fall bruises to prove it...and we weren't very drunk last night.
EDIT: I don't understand why some women insist on wearing heals in that weather either.

It finally stopped snowin here around 4:00 and i'd say we got somewhere around 4 or 5 inches, which is alot better then the 18 they originally predicted.

We are still getting hammered. Alliance closed down around 3pm and those of us east of there got closed down at 4pm. It wasn't a horrible drive home since I live so close to my work but it was slippery as all get. Glad I have a 4x4

I am very glad my wifey was told to stay home. I would have had to dig her out and still she would have gotten stuck. For some reason they STILL haven't plowed my parking lot here. I am debating on going out b/c we need laundry detergent and dish soap plus I have the taste for beer once I get my homework done  The real reason is I had to leave my car down the road b/c I couldn't pull into my lot and I hate knowing my car is not by me. I love my car OK,,hehe.
I have been listening to the Lake County police/fire as well as Euclid and the cops are all getting stuck everywhere. That and the plows are hitting cars  Looking out the window I can't see more than 200 feet. By tomorrow morning this all should be done so I may go to the Gladiators game.

Oh no.. The Dispatch was saying the side streets would be plowed because there were more than 4 inches..
If not, that sucks.. SackDawg's BDay is Monday.. I'm supposed to have him and I've got a cake on order and everythang.. arrgghhhh

Not for nothing, but we have about 2 feet here in lovely Aurora, Ohio,,
I have a little dog,, Bichon. and he isn't even 2 feet tall.. I took the wifes blazer and kept running it up and down the drive way to make a wide path for him to go potty...
it's really funny, when you seem him out in the tire path,, all you can see is his tail sticking up and its white so you can barely see that...

Ironically, I like the snow a lot more at home than I do down here. We also get a ton more at home too.
Maybe it's cuz I don't walk everywhere at home and can hit up Alpine Valley for some snowboarding. Can't snowboard here.

That was last year for the Tribe. The wonderful schedule makers decided to give us the season opener at home this year and it's not too far away - March 31st...

Glad I live UPHILL from the Cuyahoga.
My walk has been shoveled 3 times today and it's still not enough. But it did what it needed to do. Mom came to pick up my nephew.
Hubby had to work today (butt-hole dealership owner), but they FINALLY shut down at 1pm. So, it took him 90 minutes to drive from Bedford back down to Cuy. Falls. They were also the only dealership still open the whole day on the Bedford Auto Mile yesterday. All the others closed by 2 yesterday.
Anyway, glad that I don't have to go anywhere, but it has been fun watching out my window today. Little cars with crap tires trying to get up a tiny incline in front of my house. This little Nissan Sentra was sliding everywhere!!! And he lived at the other end of the road.

Well good news... a bunch of us went out and shoveled a loop around the court so you shouldn't have a problem. I think we're all chipping in for a snow blower next time. It's only one lane but it will get you around...

Were doing pretty good here...snowed in of course, but no probs on that we got all the stuff we need, my attemps at keeping a path open to the car are starting to resemble a WWI trench line,and there might be a body or two in there to boot!!!

Well if all goes well and I get a job with our corporate offices I may be a resident of Memphis within the next year or so. I was reading though an hour or so from there got a foot didn't they?

I dug out my driveway enough to get out and go dig out my mom's ......... By the time i got back ..... the snow had all blown back inti my driveway. I hate this damn white crap from hell!!!!!!!!!

My wife told me they had 5 inches......so I guess there is something to it.
Even so.....it melts off pretty fast.
I had to cut my grass last weekend....all the trees are starting to bud, flowers sprouting.
Winter around here is about 2 1/2 months long where for every day in the 30's, you have 3-4 in the 50's....or close enough ....even February.
If you make it down, we will have to go to a game.
Cleveland is a great place to visit.

It would be very hard for me to leave, but for what they are talking about paying me it would be dumb for me to say no. My family is here and that would be the roughest part.
I noticed when I was having a smoke at work that the trees are starting to bud. Then this crap hit. I am looking out of my sliding door off the deck and I still can't see across the field to the apartments across the street. It has been like this all day.

My car is snowed in my driveway and my street hasn't been plowed in hours (which NEVER happens). I LOVE it!! Wouldn't live anywhere else.
