Sorry, it's been way too long since I played (probably since 96/97). But I did have a 7th level half-elf named Kyrvie. She rocked!

Thanks! I actually knew someone that was into the occult named Kyrvie and thought it suited a half-elf very well.

Thanks about the lovely child. She's the light of my life.

I haven't done the classic pen and paper D & D in ages, but I do play Neverwinter Nights which is based on I believe the 4th Edition D&D ruleset, or something like that.

I was actually just making a Fighter/Weapon Master to play the single player game through with (I've never tried the single player before, just the multi).

With that said, I think the Feats in NWN are the same as D&D.... for a fighter, number 1 on the list should be Weapon Focus in your chosen melee weapon. Dodge is very useful as well as taking that feat will give you +1 dodge bonus to your AC. Cleave (and Great Cleave) is just brutal with a higher level character... it gives you a free attack against any opponent who is within melee range. Great Cleave is the same, but is unlimited in the number.... combine it with Devastating Critical and a Keen weapon with a large threat range for critical hits and you can really mow down some large numbers fast.

roll about 10 6d dice instead of 3 when you make your rolls

strength and constitution...then maybe dexterity

concentrate on a weapon path, and stick to it....you may want to specialize in both a long and short range weapon...or just one with a shield....

i'm sure the rules changed a ton as i haven't played the original game since 1985 probably....neverwinter nights rocks though....haven't played that in over a year....might have to reinstall...was a magicuser/thief....

personally i always like magic users more....much harder to play at beginning levels, but way more potent at higher levels....

i used to play diablo, and i built a spell caster all the way up and just owned the last few levels....

there was a secret level called 'the mad cow' level....where 1000's of minotuar looking monsters came at you....i wasted them all....my buddy with the fighter didn't last 15 seconds....the monk, slightly longer...

Attitude is everything....FEAR THE ELF!!!
