Steelers | Fan accuses cook of spitting in burger Fri, 28 Mar 2008 11:36:32 -0700 The Associated Press reports a fast-food cook and Seattle Seahawks fan has been accused of spitting in a hamburger that was ordered by a man wearing Pittsburgh Steelers gear. Kittitas County sheriff's deputies are saying the 37-year-old customer was with his daughters at an eatery and traded remarks with a cook about Super Bowl XL. The customer reportedly opened his food container and said there was spit on the burger. The man demanded a refund and called the fast-food restaurant's district manager, who told deputies a 24-year-old might be responsible. Deputies went to the employees house and smelled marijuana. The man was released after being booked for investigation of fourth-degree assault and possession of marijuana. Hilarious..... 
I still feel bad for the Seahawks fans, they were robbed.

I hate Pittsburgh and their fans as much as any Browns fan, but this is just plain disgusting, uncouth, teeny minded and ridiculous. How is this in any way cool, funny or remotely justifiable? It's a football game for God's sake. The man had his daughter with him. His team not only lost the game, he obviously lost the argument as well, so his only recourse in his mind was to spit in the man's food? He absolutely deserved to be arrested. Just wondering where the part of the story is that says he was fired and a civil suit is pending.

Well said. I don't find it funny at all, and I'm a kind of person who laughs at almost everything. Listen, I enjoy rivalry, but the keyword there is enjoy. There's a line that shouldn't be crossed, and he crossed. Blatant disregard for another person because of their football team? Please... Well I dont see how they can really prove anythingbut I was also wondering wat their justification for searching his house was? Actually I think his parents house.He spit on a burger at work (allegedly) and that gives them a reason to search his or his parents house?

This Seattle fan really lacks any kind of class. Spitting in someones food like that pretty much is the same thing as spitting right in the guys face. I'm prob sure that if he wasn't behind the counter, or at work, he would have spit in his face. And for what, because of a tee shirt or whatever? Give me a break. In the end were all fans and peple who may happen to love the same game but a different team. Thats no reason to to something like that.
