Yes folks, the impossible has happened...it's what you've been waiting for, and what some of you have been expecting -- Shep has converted me from Steeler fan to Browns fan.

Why did I let him do this to me? Quite simple actually...it was causing trouble in our relationship, and I was more easily influenced into switching than he was. I would do anything for the guy, and quite frankly, love is more important than football.

I'm on my way out the door now to get a Braylon Edwards jersey.....

Woof woof?

Why do you still have a steelers helmet? I think you know someone with the power to change that.

Happy April fools day!

This is outrageous!

Even more outrageous that you thought a Browns fan might convert!

If this is true, it is quite a convenient time to switch.

Oh, you mean because of the Browns FA signings? Nah, that has nothing to do with it. I would have switched even if it was the Browns of 2 years ago.

I tried, once...When the Browns were gone and I chose that time to marry a Steeler (married from 96-99). I watched the Steelers with him. But it didn't take...I'm a Browns fan. Always will be.

I dont care if it is April Fool's Day, I would never even pretend to, have anything less than disdain for the Steelers.

Though if I were Shep, I would log on as Christy and pretend to switch. Nice one Shep...hope she doesnt get you back too bad.

I know, I know....this is getting disgusting.

Fine, so I didn't fool anyone. Did I lay it on too thick with the Braylon Edwards jersey purchase? Or was it the weak "woof woof" at the end? By the way, I threw up in my mouth a little when I typed that.

I probably should have posted it first thing in the morning before anyone realized that it was April 1st.

You got it.

After 3 attempted pranks this was wasn’t crafted well enough to really get me. I thought about it this:

Quote:

Oh, you mean because of the Browns FA signings? Nah, that has nothing to do with it.

SCREAMED Steeler fan at me and I thought better of it.

Not what we did in free agency this year, but we have been doing in the draft and free agency for the past 3.

I was listening to Lynard Skynard on my yahoo Launchcast radio player.

It said “Live from the Steel town”.

I clicked “Never play again”, and I like Skynard.

In keeping with poor April Fools jokes:

I have converted and am now a Steeee.... Steeeeeee...StStStSt

I can't do it.

C'mon GM, you have to make it at least somewhat believable.

Actually, you should have posted it last night and then revealed the "April Fool" today.

Well to be honest, I think most know that you are a true fan and would never leave your team... I can't imagine it's affected ya'lls relationship too badly so far, so why change now? I'd had lost a little respect for you if you would have switched

I don't know, it's somewhat believable that a person would realize the errors of their ways at some point in life.

What is this mysterious power women have to cause this conversion. BrownsBabe, is this what the guys talk about in the lockerroom? A "Mercy Watch" by some woman with some hopeless loser taking pity on him? Glad you left the Dark (and Gold) Side behind. Best he ever had it I bet!
