Well let's get an update.
My linebacker, William Clay Matthews, now level 7.
Doing pretty well and getting better every day. On a good team I really enjoy in Canada. How's everyone doing?

My now level 10 qb finally threw his first td last game. He's limited his ints to 12 in 9 games. His qb rating is below 40. Good thing he's not a real life qb for any team, I would hate to hear the hating on him lol.

Well my TE Kellen Brown is a level 8, he has 24 catches for 211 yards and 1 TD in 8 games. My G is a level 6, Everitt Brown plays on a bad team holding him back. My WR Braylon Brown level 5 in 2 games has 6 catches for 51 yards and 1 TD. Still enjoy playing, can't wait for season 3, so Braylon can find a new human team to sign with and be the starter.

Well I have 3 players.
Paul Thorn HB Level 12 for Barossa Grapestompers Oceania AAA Zeta Confernece. Played 10 games this season. 121 Rushes for 585 yards and 1TD
Jo Thomas Level 12 Starting left tackle again for the Barossa Grapestompers. Has 23 Pancakes this season.
PC Thorn is a backup Guard Level 12 for Texas FBG Wine Bats Canadian AA Division 1 Eastern Conference. Not happy with my playing time although I have managed 17 Pancakes this season.

I have a level 13 TE Jimmy Draper is 565 yards and 8 TDs this season. I have a lvl 11 FS Remus Leto has 22 tackles and 1 int so far. He started out rough being stuck behind someone on a depth chart. Got lucky and got a trade. I have a level 12 DE named Luke Korrman who has 28 tackles and 2 ints on the season (the Ints were just weird)...I think he's built poorly..I'd like to scrap him. I have lvl 13 SS Bobby James who has 56 tackles on the season. I have a couple low levels I made to tinker with. All my guys are on pretty decent teams so it's been fun from that angle. My TE has to fight for playing time though my backup is basically right there with me. It's good for the team depth, but I'd be second in the league on him if I wasn't splitting time so much

I have 3 guys
My TE just hit lv 8 and has 2 TDs as a backup, getting heavy rotation in the lineup. For my first build, I am impressed how well he's played My LB is the primary backup at the outside positions and will hit lv 7 tomorrow. Again, pretty good build, he's fast, has good vision, and has not mised a tackle this year. And I have a lv 6 backup OT who doesn't play much. I've discovered OTs are boring.
I think I might build a CB next.

I'm thinking about building a LB as well. Do you get a choice of OLB or MLB? Dude on one of my teams is a MLB and avgs between 14 and 20 tackles a game at level 9 or 10.

You can't choose but the way you build your guy dictates which position he would be better[defense general only works for MLB]

Wow, that is an insane amount of tackles - at lv 6, I got 8 tackles one game at MLB, and that's my high. That guy must have insane vision.

One of the more disappointing parts of this game is that it doesn't seem like playing 'well' in a game gets you more points. Maybe it does at higher levels. Right now, my TE has extremely similar levels to another TE on the team. I usually get a few more plays, and I have more catches and TDs, but we get extremely similar skill points. Kind of frustrating.

I think XP points depends on how many plays you get, not how well you play.

It's all about playing time and not about playing well at all. It makes sense though... if doing well would get you better, then the best players would eventually destroy everyone else and there's no room for improvement.

Ive got a Lvl 12...almost 13 TE named Cleveland Freak. My pic is K2's stiffarm on Porter.
With the New regime starting in Cleveland. It is key that the Browns draft Taylor Mays. He fits our scheme and is one of the best safeties I have seen

I was considering buying a team in the new Africa region coming out.
Does anyone know what it's like to own a team on that game? I don't want to get over my head.

You know they installed a waiting list for teams. You might want to put your name in there if you have the 1000 flex points standing by.

So I'm going to attempt to buy a team. A few of my friends have some players but I'd love to have players from here as well. If anyone is interested, shoot me a PM or just speak up in this thread and I'll keep you in mind when I finally get a team.

I'm number 315 on the list. So those who wanna be on the team have plenty of time to do so.

For everyone who's been thinking of picking this game up, a new season starts in a few days. They've added some new teams so there's lots of room for players right now. IF you wanna play, now's the time! http://goallineblitz.com/game/signup.pl?ref=4063316

Has anyone's team won a championship yet? I've found that it's very hard to compete against some of those "user dominated" teams where one guy owns all his players and can build them perfectly to work together.

It seems like all 4 of my teams are rebuilding. Only has a real chance of winning anything for a few seasons.

Just started too. Pretty interesting, a little slow though. I have a couple hours before my first game. The whole buying of points thing, though relatively inexpensive, takes away from the whole skill thing.

Well my team, the one I own, is 4-1 with a 4 game winning streak. We lost by a TD in game one with an incomplete roster. So I'm feeling pretty good. Got a game tonight; love GLB.

So the Casablanca Golden Eagles, the team I own, are 12-1 and riding a 12 game winning streak. We have our two toughest games coming up vs the number 1 and 3 teams so it should be entertaining. I have 3 players LB Clay Williams - level 17 TE Kellen Winslow - level 15 DT Corey Williams - level 10 Here's my team: http://goallineblitz.com/game/team.pl?team_id=2864How are you guys coming along?

My qb is level 21. He's a tank, except the team i'm on blows. We're 2 and whatever. It's annoying.
Is anyone else in BBB#9 in USA?

Do you have any idea what it is going to cost to upgrade equipment at 24? If it is a fortune is it worth it for 4 points? I've got a 19 TE, 18 RG, 17 WR, 9 DE, and 9 DT. Still enjoy the game I would just like my teams forum to be alittle more active. And the winning to start.

This says it's 50,000 per piece of equipment so 200,000 for all 4. That's really steep.

Both my teams faired pretty poorly this year. The team my level 18 RB is on made the playoffs but got bounced first round and just had the GM resign, so he's a free agent. The team my 24 (will be boosted to 27) OT was on stunk to high heaven - we couldn't score points to save our lives and only beat teams with 4 wins max. I've gotten an offer to start at OT for the best team in the USA Pro League next year though so that should be sweet!

You should bring that OT to our team We've got a couple Browns players. We're only AA Africa and not the the USA Pro, but hey, at least we're Browns fans.
