Haha, would be easier if I hadn't already committed him to the new team. I'd be willing to bring the RB over though.

Both my teams faired pretty poorly this year. The team my level 18 RB is on made the playoffs but got bounced first round and just had the GM resign, so he's a free agent. The team my 24 (will be boosted to 27) OT was on stunk to high heaven - we couldn't score points to save our lives and only beat teams with 4 wins max. I've gotten an offer to start at OT for the best team in the USA Pro League next year though so that should be sweet!

My team made it to the conference championship game.
However we lost the game tonight, 71-0.
Owch!

I've got a level 19 strong safety who'd like to start, if there's any interest. Just PM me.

Can anyone with an offensive lineman tell me how pancakes are generated? I have a 4 in the skill, 60+ in both STR and BLK and yet I can't top over 20 something a season at LT, usually all from one game. Not that it really matters in the grand scheme of things but I'm curious.

You have to have much higher strength then the guy you're blocking it seems. Also, they usually work best when your pancake attribute is over 5.

Wow, you just got a team now?

There is a lot about this thing I don't understand. So far it seems the software is constantly being "adjusted" and it makes it very tough for the GMs and coordinators to make their own adjustments.

I wish I had a player for you, but my two high level guys are in Europe East A1 on the Red Tide, and my LB is too low for you and in the D-leagues.

I'm still having trouble forking out cash for this. It seems much like a work in progress, and we're all the beta testers. Granted it's fun, and the AI engine is really sophisticated, but it is real quirky. It's also not cheap, 38 bucks in a month, and I'm very "cheap".

Im trying to figure out stamina last season my stamina was fine. This year my rb is sucking wind ebery game, and my punter punted once and dropped his stamina 5 points.

They jacked up stamina this season. It looks like you need to have at least 35 or you will be damn tired after games.

It's weird I'm sorta getting tired of the game, but still getting on pretty frequently. I'm running a team for an owner that is away on business, and that's more headaches than it is worth.

Yeah mines just under 32 and I need to always keep trainng on relaxed so I can be ready for next game. It sucks because I cant train hard to level up.

Training doesn't affect the amount of XP you get.

I think he's still too low for your team though. He actually plays OK, but not great. A lot of work to do on him yet.

That's one of my problems with the whole set up. People pay more (much more) for this than WoW and the like and they keeping making "adjustments". They changed the whole speed/agility formula, so a lot of builds are way behind all of a sudden. There is also no real tech support, just moderators. It's very interesting and I'm having fun with the team I'm on, but the whole structure is off.

Looks interesting, play out this year in the CPU league then we can talk, Are you a booster? Are you going to add custom equipment? If you are we will sign you if you want to.

I do boost, I probably will but equipment. I'm just trying not to spend a ton of money anymore.

If anyone has any level 20+ guys and want to be on a team with a few fellow Browns fans, hit me up. My username is the same, or you can just PM me. We went 13-3 last season and lost in the 2nd round of the playoffs. This season we're 3-3 after playing the hardest schedule. So if interested, get in touch please. I can afford all the equipment upgrades and money is really no problem since we have almost $9 million in the bank.

I know some people are complaining about the cost of the game. But I have found a way to earn money into a paypal account to use to buy the flex points. If you're interested here is the link http://www.pay2surf.net/register.php?r=jimromeisnotbur

That could very well be a very legit thing, but as a rule, I never participate in that stuff. It still doesn't change the fact that for a beta game with no tech support, it costs way too much. I love the work that has been put in so far, but it's still a beta. Not to mention, just to be somewhat competative, it costs more than the big MMORPGs like WoW etc.

I just read this thread, so I'm kinda out of the loop on it all.

I created a player named Willis Blaq, a strong safety. Agent's name is Dramacydal. Not sure what I do now, just wait for an offer I guess.

It said I can set up an ad for myself. I did that. Would I get an offer, or should I just play for a CPU team in the developmental league?

You can sign with a human controlled team even while under contract in the d-leagues.

Anyone willing to pick me up?

I'm new to the game, any advice on getting better?

I have a SS named Willis Blaq, Lv 4 in the D League25 playing for the Honolulu Towers. I'm 2nd string, racking up 14 tackles in my first 5 games in.

Just wondering if it just takes time to get your players leveled up or what? And I'm I stuck on a CPU controlled team for a long time? Haven't figured out what the point of the equipment is, either.

Just made a FS as well, so he's brand new. I'm probably going to make a 3rd player now for fun. I'm jumped into it late, so I'm behind.

Just looking for advice on what all I can do on here, and the fastest way to get better and on a good team. (We suck)

This season is almost over so at the end of the year fill out your Free Agency Ad options under your player's profile. Also at the end of the year turn your Attribute Sharing Option to "Everyone can view". You can also check the forums for teams needing players.

Build your stamina and speed up first, but don't entirely neglect vision, tackling, strength, agility, and confidence. You can also check the FAQS and look at the threads on player builds.

The higher you go as far as levels the longer it takes to get to the next level.

If you follow what i said above you should be on a human controlled team at the start of the next season.

Just like a real player your guy needs equipment and for each piece you buy you can add points to anyone of your player's attributes.

The best way to get better is to find a team that has players close to your player's skill level. If you go to a team with players who are more skilled then you your not likely to see as much playing time and thus won't get the XP points you need to build your player.

Yeah it's pretty much a guarantee if you don't read up on builds that you will mess up your first guy a bit. I got lucky and was able to recover from my mistakes and my first guy is pretty good now. I had to retire a DE that was hopelessly broken though

I appreciate the help.

I have been adding to my speed the most, but I have neglected the stamina so far. I think the majority of my points has gone to speed, followed by vision and tackling.

I'm holding off on a third guy for now. I gotta get some referrals to sign up.

FYI - if you want to get some quick playing time, I've created two FB's recently and they are getting some serious playing time each game.

One more question......

What exactly is the deal with boosting? I understand if you buy flex points, or earn them from referals, you can boost your level up. But why does it ask you when you make your player or not if you'll boost?

I've also seen recruitment adds for players at a certain skill level that boost, or another skill level that don't boost. Couldn't find much in the FAQ.

I think you're referring to the marketplace ads where you post your guy's "job listing"

Ya, that's where it was.

So what is the deal with it then? Why does it ask you that question? Is there something wrong with it?

It asks that question because it will let owners know if you are willing to spend money on the game. As an owner, if I'm looking for players, first I look for people that will spend money and boost. Second, I look for people with special equipment.
