I have a friend who is just like #2, Mr. Excuses. One time we were playing tap football in a little kids thing that the high school coach runs. He was on defense. Some on completely burns him on a pass. Once he sees he got beat, he falls to the ground yelling, "My quad; oh my quad." It was pathetic.

That was some good stuff, I wish it had some good production behind.

There is always one of those guys on the court, funny stuff.

hahahaha...I love this video. They are there just about everytime.

Especially Mr Excuses...thats me. Everytime i play and I make a mistake im like "ahhh, my bad, i shouldve done that instead" its not quite the same, im not blaming it on outside sources, but i always apologize for mistakes.

hahaha...great video.

Which one are you guys?! those of you that play

That was great. I love pickup basketball. Have played a lot over the years. Mr. Excuses doesn't bother me because you can just laugh at those guys, but I can't stand the guy that always calls fouls.

I went to Kent with a couple of those guys! Mr. Quick Skin is Mike Polk. That kid cracks me up.

That is funny because it is so true.

Well, this is the thing BB...most people can tell if you can play or not and whether or not it is an 'excuse' or a legitimate reason.

There's no pulling the wool over on anyone's eyes on the basketball court.

They forgot a few...

Guy that tries hard but when losing by more then 2 pts stops trying and pretends he doesn't care

Guy that yells at his teammates to keep moving, roll on that pick, switch up, ect..

Guy who thinks he's all world but is completely horrible

Guy that just went to Foot Locker and bought a perfect outfit and new shoes (and still sucks)

I'm the guy that always gets fouled... only I don't call them. I'm 6'5" and generally the biggest, if not one of the biggest on the court. You small guys don't know how to guard a tall guy without fouling and usually end up calling it on yourself or I make it anyway...

Of course I haven't played in a long while so now I'd probably be Mr Excuses and my bad knees, fat ass self definitely can't dunk that easily anymore...

You guys ever notice that the guy who always call the touch foul tends to be the same guy who will argue for 10 minutes when he gets called for the hack?

Ah yes but in my experiances it's always the guys doing the least moving that is yelling. They'll just be standing at the top of the key holding the ball yelling "cut, cut!", "Set a screen for me", "Roll, Roll". Then when no one is "open" they throw up a glass breaking three point attempt and then proceed to wine at their teammates on the way down the court.

There's one that falls into the "never fouls" but he's also almost a breed of his own... "Never travels" the people that take two steps, jump stop and then take another just for good measure. Really Pick up basketball kind of gets on my nerves but hey, it's still basketball.

They're missing me, I'm the Dead Weight 10th.

All other 9 players will completely forget that I was ever in the game. Tends to be wide open, and when finally the ball comes my way will end up complaining that I missed a shot while they are down 10 points.

LOL ... that's me too!

And they're also forgetting "The Launch Pad" ... the guy who thinks he Kyle Korver and just launches threes whenever he touches the ball. That was my best friend growing up ... who was also a big time, "Always Fouled".

Upon rethinking.

Theyre missing the overly-super-nasty sweaty guy who no one wants to cover. Theres always one. The guy who after two trips down the court has already soaked through his undershirt, and regular shirt.

seriously hes the worst.

every time i see that guy now all i think of is that guy from Along Came Polly. But, that guy is the worst, and hes there so often, its gross

mr irrelevant baller sucks too. Ive been that guy a number of times. The only way you get the ball is if you get boards. Its boring and i hate it. I try to include that guy everytime i play, because i hate it and i play the point, so i try to get the ball to everyone.

however...i try to cover that guy in the games, cuz it makes my life way easier

I'm normally Mr. Irrelevant only because I suck at shooting.. I'm more a defensive/rebounder type person.. Never Mr. Excuses though.. Heck I got charged one game and landed elbow first on the concrete.. still have the scar.. but sat out for a few minutes and went back in like nothing happened..

ROFL...one of my close buddies is the "launch pad" but I can't complain because he makes them a good number of the time.

As for me...can we add "Would rather play Knockout or 33 Man?" I've never been much of a bball player in the first place but I'm actually decent at those games. Took me a long time to get a reasonable jump-shot but it hasn't improved with defenders around me. Doesn't bug me though, I make up for it when we play pickup softball.

Speaking of which, that would make a nice sequel.
