Ndutyme, Phildawsonrocks, and pit. Bartending/reffereeing would be ref 6 (I think it was 6 - not sure anymore.)

We would have a good time in person I'm betting.

Give me Abraham Lincoln, George Washington and Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. It would be really interesting to hear what they have to say about the world today, especially as they start getting boozed up.

Bartending would be Dick Winters, the "main character" in "Band of Brothers."

I'd love to have a beer with both of my grandfathers and an uncle who all passed away before I was old enough to drink with them.

As for famous people: Ted Williams, Elvis Presley, and Jimmy Buffett. I think my bartender would be Babe Ruth. Heck, his dad was a tavern owner, so I figure he could pour a good beer!

I don't drink, but I'd have Alexander Hamilton, Genghis Khan, and Nelson Mandela. It would be a serious discussion.

Let's just say there was an incident a while back and ref 6 handled it very well. And just so you know, I was the problem, not the other person involved. Well, actually I caused the problem.

Wait, we're allowed to use fictional characters too? Wow, that opens up a lot of possibilities. You could then invite Puff the Magic dragon, Neo (from the Matrix) and Frodo from the Lord of the Rings.

Ok, I'll keep Jesus (though I suppose I could invite a ficticious representitive of Jesus that would essentially be the real Jesus but.....well, I want to see what he really looked like), replace Will Ferrel with God (Morgan Freeman from Bruce Almighty), move Charmane Star to the bartender position and invite Frank Riccard (Frank the Tank from Old School) in her now vacant position.

Buddies:
God
Jesus
Frank Riccard

Bartender:
Charmane Star

[/mebeingasmartass]

...I know Band of Brothers was loosely based on real people and events but after Hollywood gets ahold of it....who knows what was real of fake.

Hmm, interesting question and tough list to narrow down, but since I get one shot at bringing back the dead, maybe Nostradamus, Thomas Jefferson & Albert Einstien. Bartender Dennis Leary.

lol, Dick Winters is not a fictional character. "Band of Brothers" is non-fiction about a company in WWII, and he was their leader.

Just quickly off the top of my head,

Charles Barkley, Ronnie Lott, and Clay Matthew's.

I bet you'd get some good stories.

from a history perscective,

Sam Adams, Abraham Lincoln, Martin Luther King.

I won't even go into the women I'd like to drink with, I'd just get myself in trouble. , besides I think I'd just be happy that 3 women would sit and drink with me.

Either:

Nicola Tesla, Thomas Jefferson, George Patton with Phil Savage bartending

or..

Shania Twain with Helen Keller bartending...

I caught that my friend

All good bartenders need to take the Sgt. Schultz oath...."I know nothing"

A good reason why you need a man behind the bar if it isn't Helen Keller.

My list: Grandpa, Grandma, Hubby and my bartender would be my daughter. (None of us really drink, she could just sit back there and look cute)

But if I'm going famous people, I gots ta laugh: Kenny Wallace, Robin Williams, Dane Cook with my bartender being Jesus. I mean, he does turn water to wine for goodness sake.
